Now, follow the steps below to replace the optocoupler:
Disconnect the device you will be working on from the power source and discharge electricity from all components.
Carefully clear other components and wires around the circuit to get to where the optocoupler is located.
Clean the solder points using a desoldering pump or wick to remove the optocoupler. Be careful and do not burn the surroundings.
Remove the optocoupler and replace it with the new optocoupler. Be careful, make sure you insert it in the correct direction.
Snap the new optocoupler into place and use the soldering station to solder it. Make sure the optocoupler is fixed and placed properly.
After soldering the optocoupler, clean the circuit with a cleaning brush and isopropyl alcohol. This will remove any solder residue and contamination.
Replace all components and reassemble the device.
Plug in the power cord and turn on the device. Check if the optocoupler is working correctly.
