how many kinetic squad reps would you recommend daily, 4-8 or more like 20?

no more like do this 1-2 times 2 times per week or 3 if you're feeling wild. It's neuromuscular retraining, not a "workout".

As I come from a trials background, I see many people are tense... In trials, that will only stall progression. Limber up. The other aspect is using your factory standard suspension! You know, the suspension Mom gave us when she made us!! That little walnut between our ears controls compression and rebound of that suspension, we need to learn to use it to the extent that it becomes autonomous. While my trials bike has no seat, the other bikes in the collective do, that is the baseline of weight bias. From there, minor movement fore/aft/side/side is all it takes. Let the bike show you a good time! Both bike and rider are participants...

I'm 46 and I haven't ridden in 20 years. I recently got a new bike and started riding again. I ride daily since I live on a hillside and it's an amazing workout. I usually do a 20-30 minute climb and then have an excellent 5-8 minutes of downhill on a rough and rocky trail. After watching this video I found that I'm in the right zone for handling the rugged stuff but this helped me realize some small changes I can focus on to make my technique cleaner. Thanks for the videos! You've been a ton of help for a guy relearning how to ride.

Yeah... watching your videos makes me more conscious of the quads and hamstrings. The problem is getting older and having an old groin injury - which by nature never really heal. I have to be very careful doing squats or any bending below the waist exercise. And definitely no weights on squats.

Have you done physical therapy? Out of curiosity.

@@mountainbikeacademy Absolutely. Am a firm believer in PT. I still do all the exercises I received from the appointments. Without, I would probably not be able to run or mtb. But once you hit a certain age - things just "happen". You don't really bounce back like when you were young like in your 40s. You work around it.

Best analogy I've ever heard: The bike is like a horse you're better off moving with it than fighting it... That shot at 0:38 would have made a great thumbnail, just saying. I still didn't get an action cam neither I convinced people to film me, booo

It would! I filmed it in a slow frame rate so it would have been super blurry
