I'm glad you walked away from that one with just scrapes. That one definitely came out of nowhere!

Can you explain what trails you are allowed to ride E-bikes on around Park City,? As far as I can tell, most if not all the trails around Park City do not allow Eebs.

Def check your helmet for any hairline cracks after hitting your head on a crash. Helmets are usually made for 1 good impact.

Funnily enough, the few major crashes I've had have happened on easier trails (greens/blues). Maybe because we let our guards down and ride riskier when we feel our skills are greater than the trail difficulty? In any case, my first big crash definately taught me "all the gear, all the time", even on the greens, an investment I've never regretted.

I tell my kids you don’t wear the pads because you plan to crash. You wear them because you never know what will happen. The gloves and elbow pads can save the day. Glad you are in one piece. Sorry the trip was filled with a couple spills. Random rocks on trails suck. Good thing you could ride out.

Glad you are ok! Could have been much worse. And it was your fault, you didn't see the rock! You are lucky! Thanks for sharing the bad and the good! And was there a mark on your rim?

Haha true! No marks that I could see on the rim...crazy.

I was riding this easy trail in Nashville and clipped a tree at 2mph! Just not paying good enough attention. Looking forward to more videos!

Your bars were definitely crooked after the crash, just rode it like that…yea probably a little concussion.

Imagine if your carbon bars busted and ruptured an artery. Lots of stories of this happening. (I am a first responder). Plus you are alone. I mostly ride alone and have crashed before. Aluminum bars haven't failed me. Just my own opinion. In Prescott, hikers put rocks and sticks on the trails. Always look forward to your videos! thanx

Some of us ride more than just on weekends. Tough to do when you ride 8-12 hours a week.

You have been riding mountain bikes and e-bikes for a long time. I remember that just you cased and passed out for a few minutes. I completely agree that you never take any trail, even smooth looking rolling hill trails for granted. Always stay focused and looking ahead as much as possible and keeping your body positioned aggressively throughout your ride. Personally I don’t wear a full face but I definitely think that it’s important for new riders or riders that are choosing more technical trails to consider. I sometimes wear the lightweight TLD knee pads. It’s just a thin layer of neoprene (kinda like wetsuit material) but it’s has saved me from smashing my knee into the dirt.
