I have no problem packing light for a trip to Europe, it's resisting the urge to bring an entire suitcase full of stuff back with me.

Going to Europe from the U.S., I carry on my luggage. But, I always bring a foldable tote. If I have too much to carry on the plane for my return trip, I check my suitcase and bring the tote on the plane. I don't worry as much about my luggage making it home with me on the return trip. A day or two delay isn't a problem for me. I always buy tickets that include a checked bag if needed. Sometimes, I check my bag on the return trip just so I don't have to lug it around the airports.

What airline allows you to bring two pieces of cabin luggage onto the plane ? European airlines such as Easyjet and Ryan Air won’t allow a piece of luggage of that size and the personal bag has to go under the seat in front of you.
