Picked up an Amazing collection of Nintendo and Super Nintendo a few weeks back! Some surprisingly good games and MASSIVE HEAVY HITTER for the NES. Always love sharing the gaming/collecting hobby with the community.
Holy Cow this is a great beer! Amazing nose on this one and goes down so smooth. If you like IPA you are sure to enjoy this one. I have also had a few other brews from this company and so far they have been a hit. Make a POWER Move and check them out if your ever in the area! 🍻

There was definitely some great games here. 🤙🏻 The work site has definitely been a boon with both buying and selling, especially with the way the market is nowadays. Thrifting has all but dried up and Marketplace around me is nothing but resellers… and anything that’s posted up by a regular person gets snapped up so quick or the price gets driven up you may as well buy off eBay.

What an amazing score of games!! I get what you're saying though about keeping boxed copies.... It's not something we go after either, but it's hard to get rid of the ones that you might never come across again. Nothing wrong with flipping to support putting the games you want into your collection.

This was a fun pickup. Glad the gentlemen was able to make some money on them and he passed them along to a collector who will appreciate them or send them to other collectors to appreciate. I kinda feel like over the past year or two it’s almost a necessity to buy lots and flip the excess to make some of the money back. Not sure about you guys but I feel like since early last year it’s gotten a whole lot harder in my area to find games without paying full price. Between other collectors and the massive amount of resellers out here. 🤷‍♂️ The thrifts are much drier than they used to be and so many folks do nothing but thrift, yard sale hunt and hustle it’s really made it tough. One perfect example just the other day I saw a FB market post for a yard sale. Literally posted 30 minutes earlier. The post casually mentioned that along with the usual items they had some video games. At that point it already had two people commenting about buying them before the yard sale and wanting to DM the poster.

Whenever I see boxes in great shape like most of these it’s almost shocking. I mean it’s pretty special for most of these to make it 30+ years alone. 😂 Stoked to get to add some of these to the collection for sure. Especially since it’s been getting tougher to add NES to the set.

Thanks buddy! The seller was a former military guy and a former military brat so that is the reason he was so kind to these over the years. 😂 Super stoked to add a bunch of these to the collection! I didn’t get a lot of brand new games as a kid but man…I doubt those boxes even made it a day in my house. 🤣

Pretty sweet for sure. Former military man and a military brat growing so that is likely why he took such good care of them through the years. I was happy to pay up a little for them, put some money is his hands and some cool games on the collection. About 1/2 of them even had his original receipts from the 1990’s 🤣 Solid additions to the collection for sure and some things to trade too. Weekend wasn’t exactly what I wanted it to be but I hope yours was great dude! 🍻🤙🏻

Tons of great pulls! I have a few CIB SNES/NES games and I love just pulling them out and giving them a nice smell 😂 Captain Skyhawk was such a great underrated game! Box looks beautiful too!

That's the kind of story you love to hear--someone who kept the boxes for storage/moving sake and so now they're passed on to someone who will appreciate them! Some solid stuff here too! Wait, no Killer Cuts? Oh, but that disc is my jam! lol The Lost Vikings is a lot of fun--and frustrating. lol I've long adored it, but never actually beat it though I got so, so far... Gaia is one of my all time favorites--love seeing that you're adding it complete to your collection. Dude, love me some Super Mario Kart on SNES. Ha ha, the NES controller stickers; I remember seeing those (and some for SNES) back in NP. Speaking of, fun additions! The game holders are great. Hey, Lode Runner, that's an interesting action puzzler. RCR is an awesome addition. Gargoyle's Quest II, I've heard good things about that one. S.C.A.T.--good game, unfortunate name. lol

It is super cool that it worked out this way. And the seller sincerely was happy they were gonna find their way into collectors hands too. We worked out a fair deal for us both and I am happy to have been able to get it all. Was able to add some solid games to the collection for sure. I am gonna have to find a copy of the Killer Cuts CD now. 🤣 Lost Vikings is such a colorful and frustratingly fun puzzle game. I totally wanted a copy for so long and now I have two. 🤷‍♂️ Gargoyles Quest II may have been my favorite grab from this lot. It’s a cool game man. 🤙🏻 For as much thought as they put into the acronym…they really didn’t think the name SCAT through very well. 😂

Thanks dude! Pretty happy with this pickup and I think the seller was too. Really cool that he hung onto these and kept them in such great shape since he was a kid. I have been doing decent on my work site classifieds for sure. 🤣 I have certainly missed out on a few things too though. Awhile back someone listed an Atari Lynx boxed with like 10 games for $50…I missed that deal. Got beat to it. 🤷‍♂️ I have had a few folks try to negotiate with me over some things too so it’s not all winning but it’s certainly better than FB for me. This seller took fantastic care of these over the years. So glad he reached out to me and also happy that he made a little money off of these too. Stunt Race FX was one of the main games in my SNES rotation back in the day. I played the heck out of it. The Super FX chip made it and Starfox special experiences back then but unfortunately it’s not aged well. 🤣 Cheers my friend! 🍻🤙🏻

Glad to hear you say Genesis is far superior to the SNES. Street Racer artwork looks fantastic. Incredible all that Nintendo cardboard survived this long. Base Wars is my favorite NES baseball game. Very nice scat pickup. Hahaha. I have had the same box debate with Sega Genesis. They are way less expensive than cardboard. But still not free.

I think a little selective hearing was at work here. 😂 Super cool that the seller kept all this for so long on such good shape! He sent it to a good home. 🤙🏻 Base Wars is not my favorite baseball game on the system but it is one of the best in a huge group of baseball games. The robots fighting add a cool element that as a young fella and now an old fella I still enjoy. I am all about finding the cheapest way to enjoy a game so I don’t have a preference for systems most of the time. In the case of Lost Vikings I will probably keep my Genesis version and sell or trade the SNES to save a few bucks. Hope you and the family are doing well buddy. 🍻🤙🏻

I thought you may appreciate this pickup. 🍻 I plan to keep a good portion of this lot. A few doubles and a few titles I am not interested will be traded or sold off but a lot of good stuff for the collection. The seller really did take care of these. He was probably almost as old as me and had been holding onto them all these years. 😂 SCAT is a terrible name for a video game isn’t it? I know I would never find another CIB copy especially in that shape but damn at that price I could knock 3 heavy hitters off the list loose. Fuck it I am rich…at least my wife’s family thinks I am. 🤣😂🤣

Smells like Nintendo! 🤣. the boxes are great, I actually still had the CD for Killer instinct up until a years ago. I found out my mom threw it out when they sold their house. Should have been more careful about keeping stuff at my folks. Super spike VBall with the terminator on the cover. 🤣🤣
