Hi My name is Glenise and I'm from New Zealand. Im nearly 80yrs olf but I still love craft ideas and I've been keeping toilet rolls to make other things. My main craft is crochet and I'm cutrently making dolls for a lady's sister. I met the lady Marianne when i was in hospital and they came to visit me at home and saw what i was making. Ive finished 2..sister Donna wants 3!!!! I've made beanies for charities, little bears, a donkey and i have an order for 2 of my elephants and monkeys for another young girl i met in hospital too and her friend as well. So anything that is of a craft type is of great interest to me. Well done❤🎉😂🎉
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words dear friend 😘 I'm so glad that you like it ☺️I'm very pleased to read that you are constantly doing something and that you are in contact with nice people 😊 Best greetings and lots of health from Poland 🤗💖🏵️💮🌸
You are a very beautiful woman. I’m chronically ill right now, but when I get a bit better, I’m going to try to make Preemie outfits for babies who have passed. My daughter lost twin girls due to “twin-to-twin transfer syndrome”. The next morning I came and saw the twins who had blackened and were in beautiful tiny outfits. I thought that I would do that one day. 🩷
Me and my seniors are trying to make this in a group activity but the finished project is only shown for a second. Please show the end for about 10 seconds for us old folks to see. Thank you so much for sharing this. I really appreciate it and it is a beautiful craft project.

Great diy. I love it. Sometimes the best decor you can create yourself by what you consider to be trash. Also it is frugal to do especially when you are trying to save or cannot afford your go over your budget. Instead of looking down on others or making disrespectful remarks should have open minds and try to support our fellow man and woman. God bless you for your creative mind and thinking. Thank you for sharing be blessed.
I do this too, stuff mine with lint from the dryer. Sometimes I put some wax in there from my wax candle warmer when it gets old and doesn't smell anymore.
You'd need to start saving them for a very long time if you live alone. I doubt you can buy either used paper rolls. But, without searching some places probably sell new ones.
I'm back to the crochet needle myself but I'm just cutting up the bag of empty toilet rolls and it's perfect timing for Halloween and Christmas and any celebration and great as picture frames for family pictures.Bling, paint and work some of your magic and i will be done and so proud i have to give your page a good luck i am very big into upcycling and recycling.THANK YOU BEAUTIFUL.SENDING ❤ AND LIGHT FROM DUBLIN,IRELAND.❤❤❤❤

My aunt would always do this stuff. As a mother of 6 in 6 years, she freed up time by opening two large cans of pork and beans for dinner every night - no need to heat that up or anything. I remember the kazoo she constructed from TP rolls to present to my mom - causing all 8 of them to be two hours late for a formal dinner my mom was putting on. One quest was diabetic and nearly went into a seizure as a result.
Sorry but short must be shorter than 60 seconds ⏱️ Slow version step by step you can find here 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BSP8-ILfAFw.htmlsi=HZXhOaXfQYVmqkbK ☺️
My former hometown - loved living 3 miles from the ocean. Homeowners insurance- ugh. I got dropped several times with no claims, just the company wouldn’t cover anyone who lived within 5 miles of the ocean.
Yep. I put lint from the dryer in the tubes, melt useless candle wax and pour in a bit. Great fire starters. For a real show put a bit of copper wire in the tube
And what would the copper wire do?? Just turn the flame green? And where would you add it? As a coil inside each elongated, cut piece? Or as a wick or jumble it all together and throw it all in???!!!
This is a very decent idea for a pre-schooler art project because it's fast enough and engages small and precise enough hands movement. And it's extremely cheap! It hits all the right spots! But, be honest, this is a perfect dust collector, I have enough of those, plus I, an adult, can make something much prettier to collect my dust. Or purchase something prettier. You don't have to make something just because you can. It's like in the joke "you can make a bus out of a bread loaf if you try really hard; but what for?.." or maybe "but why would you?.."
Still a better dust collector than a piece of garbage from the dollar store made with who knows what by who knows who. Plus when the season is over you can just throw it away guilt free 😂 it’s made of trash, after all
You sound like a downer. If people enjoy making things, no matter what that is then they absolutely should. Besides anything that collects dust can be air cleaned with an air compressor. Takes less than 5 minutes. If someone doesn't have one they can take it to a relatives garage to clean. BTW air compressors are a great investment. They are great for cleaning cars, garage floors, blowing out gutters, and of course cleaning little dust collectors that most people have. Have a wonderful day 😁
Hello! This is a wonderful craft for everyone from children (supervised/helped, of course), to seniors. Would you please consider showing less of creasing and gluing the tubes, and more of finished wreath? Also, please post diameter of wreath, number of tubes, size and number of paper strips (in video or in description). Thank you for a cute, easy craft!❤

Love this especially the flower pedals on the wreath base. I like to finish my similar recycling cardboard cores with brush on or light coats of spray paint followed after the dry by finishing coats of varnish.
@@hawkhat It's not so hard to make. Slow tutorial step by step with all details you have here 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BSP8-ILfAFw.htmlsi=0_FurK_vOuSTQbyp 🤗
Cool idea. I’m imagining of using this for a frame/backing for a wreath of pastel colored tissue papers placed onto the almond shaped slots to look like flowers for Easter.
🤩Qué bonito trabajo! Yo hice hace tiempo una decoración grande para el respaldo de mi cama. Tuvo muchos piropos positivos. 😊 Éste qué hiciste se le podría poner un espejo para embellecerlo aún más. 😉
Actually looks nice, I'm impressed. Are you going to spray paint it? Is it going to be pastel and soft or bright and shiny? It's already brown so it would be good for fall too.
I'm going to try this with my paper towel roll, too. It's just a longer version of the toilet paper roll. The toilet paper rolls would probably be better for the flowers due to measurements, though. This is such a cool, creative idea. Might be spray painting for some color options, too. Thanks 😊
