possibly the finest video I have ever seen in terms of capturing the feeling and beauty of sailing. Wonderful photography perfectly matched to the rhythm and theme of the music.
I love this video!! It is the most inspiring video I know of as I refit my beloved Pacific Seacraft 25 here in Honolulu. I will be watching this over and over again! Thank you! Mahalo!
U should have a lot more vews, that is one fine boat nicer than a bristol chanelcutter and 5000 pounds heaver, good music and the bluest water, nicely done,
So beautifully done. This was my favorite boat growing up. I wanted to by a partial kit from WS and sail the world. At least I still go to Lake Superior every August. Never made it around the world:-( This video brings back those old passions. Fair sailing my friend.
I return to your Oct run to Duluth and see this other video. I'm grateful for your posting. It makes the long Wisconsin winter a bit less oppressive. I sail a Pearson Vanguard out of Ashland. Thanks.
Hi Carl, that's a well behaved 9' Dyer Dhow. Fits nicely on the cabin top if the weather gets too rough for towing. What's your boat and where do you sail?
Sailing with original (40 yr old) sails. In this video our spare mainsail has a bolt rope foot in slot, so reefs are tied around boom. Our other mainsail (with tanbark corners in other videos) has slides in the slot, so reefs are not tied around the boom. Both sails are pretty tired and have many repairs and re-cut seams. Hope to have a new suit of sails soon. The new main will probably have a loose foot.
