The main issue with all these "Genshin-inspired" games is that they try to fool you into thinking they have the open world experience like Genshin does. Guess what, they actually don't. The world in these games are purely non-combat 3D menu you need to navigate by moving from one place to another. When you initiate combat, it will teleport you into standard corridor-based level with a few rooms full of enemies for you to beat up. It can be very creative, like this game here, but the lack of open world experience is showing sooner or later. I can understand why they do this: it is waaaaay easier to program a game like this. You don't need to make all these assumptions like what happens if player or enemy stands in the water, or how it changes combat if it rains. But this is exactly the reason Genshin excels, and till this day, no other game can reach its level.
