Look at ToF improvement from 1.0 to 4.0 and the speed of the patches. Now imagine that in NTE. I'm excited and so looking forward to Hoppa's new project.
I mean ToF is an MMO, MMO bound to have worse graphic and more scuff. Considering what it is, ToF is already stunning, especially the newer maps Innars, D9, Network. That being said, NTE is a piece of technical opus on its own, a marvellous display of craftsmanship. And this is but a glimpse of pre-beta.
Here, you can see that TOF is not that bad. It's a game made in 2021 from a small team with little budget. Also, its an mmo. For what it is, it's amazing. But obviously, haters will never see it
@@ExDik1 that's also true, lore and story aren't presented nicely. But it's an MMO... people should have kept their expectations low on that and on polish.
All is true except about that low budget. They have all the budget chinese can ever hope, the game is produced under Tencent itself which is the biggest company in China.
I must admit Hotta got a very talented game developing team because of what they have accomplished in ToF from 1.0 to 4.0 with just 50ish staffing. I played Genshin for over 3 years, and what have they (5,000 employees) improved in the game or perhaps progressed, virtually Nothing. They just do the bare minimum of updating new maps and characters and there is still no proper artifact loadouts to date, no mounts, no pvp, no endgames, no pets to fight alongside, and the worst thing is the MC model looks like an NPC with no customisation whatsoever. Just look at Hoyo ZZZ and compared to NTE. NTE makes ZZZ looks like game developed by high school students. Hotta has a bright future ahead and I will definitely support them as long as they continue to thrive. Great job Hotta!
One of the reason I am looking forward to NTE is that they got a car with customisation. Its like GTA but with RPG anime combat. I spend less time in ToF now because of how quiet it feels compare to 2.0 and before. MMO suppose to enjoy when there are a lot of people. Even matchmaking now takes forever to find one. I still enjoy the sightseeing in ToF tho.
matchmaking takes forever cause ToF is close to 2 years already, most of players at this moment have their own crew, or joining with pre-made party from world chat. but then it depends on what platform you are playing right now, if it is PS, a bit quieter cause no mega server.
and you can use hologram relic during sleep or shower XD i did on the sleep one by myself, and I saw someone JP in twitter did the hologram on the shower XD
hope the dev not abandoning ToF cause the game has potential in the future. i love the game even though it's has some errors and bugs. but the gameplay is fun and the map is gorgeous.
ohh thats cool, They really improve on what they learn on past game, set the graphics more on par for single-player ARPG, but their characters lighting need a bit of improvement imo (like on red scene it's still normal color on the characters)
This is like comparing an identical twins child Try to compare to an older game like genshin or something, and then we can all agree Hotta is winning from that old man
There re no daily activities in Mirroria, just 1 stupid weekly and racing. Map is the trash, I spend many weeks, climbing on buildings. Elevators re in the worse places. Remember quests, where u climb full day.
@@TheMarkAvreliy I'm talking about HOME, a place you can spend times in comfort zone to relax and rest, not a crazy activities you can go wild in adventures.
im just glad they decided to use unreal engine this time. TOF one of cons is its game engine. thats why its always server lag especially when there is lot of players lol
NTE looks awesome. I just hope it's managed better than ToF was. 😅 I hope they commit to releasing more male characters than ToF. I'm a female player. I want husbandos in the game. lol
Is this in reference to ToF? 😅 Cuz I KNOW I didn't see that many characters in NTE and the 2 males they showed were masculine to me (especially the Welt-looking one with the cane). Is it really THAT bad in ToF? I was thinking of finally giving ToF a chance since I'm hyped for NTE. But if the male roster is that bad... as a straight female, I'll pass. 😅 Thanks for the heads up.
The reason why the old zones in Tower of Fantasy were abandoned is because player gets nothing from there. I really want the game let's player choose their endgame farming mechanic by themselves like Path of Exile do. Tower of fantasy has something like that (lab research) but not good enough because they didn't give value to old zones like Dark Zone.
How are they not generous? You get like 10 to 20 free limited SSR pulls every patch. Plus the Premium currency reward for maintenance. How many rewards do you get in G game for 3 years and anniversary? 1 pull? 3 pulls?

ToF advantage at graphics and mmoprg but the story and lore not properly introduce to players base and make more non sense playing this because story is so bad
bro, this is an mmo, few mmo's focus on the story. That's why people at the beginning misunderstood the game. The focus is on doing quests, getting people together to kill the boss and be happy, you know and etc. That's why people have a very bad memory of ToF when they remember it in the first versions. Because they already had the mindset that it would be a "new genshin". Since Genshin isn't even an MMO.
@@ExDik1 yes in the past it is like this laggy af, but fixed after update of Mega server. though i wont blame the developers, this is faulty from global publisher, their servers were so bad lol.
@@joujow Genshin is the standard of gacha now , Hoyoverse is a billionaire company , and now HSr whos the highest profit so I say story is much more important of the gacha
