Marvel's Spider-Man PS1 is a game that's so near and dear to my heart that this is the second review I've made on it! You can find the first one way back at the beginning of my channel, but I definitely don't recommend watching it.
I made it back when I was first starting out and hadn't quite figured out how to not make my voice sound like hot garbage, and audio mixing was a total mystery to me.
Now, though, I want to treat you to a little look into your favorite synthetic voice's childhood with a nostalgic look at one of the best Marvel games ever made.
It's crazy to think that Neversoft knocked it out of the park with the very FIRST introduction of Spidey to 3D video games, even if it's a little clunky in places!

This is the game that made me a fan of the web head. Seeing my dad play this game, my 7 or 8 year old mind after having the X-men in my mind, I was like "Wow, this is cool, ima try this game out." I played this game and was immediately hooked. From the quips, the music, the gameplay at the time, I was new to gaming at the time so at the time, I haven't seen anything like it. And this game as soon as I played it and beaten it, it got the ball rolling for checking out other Spider-Man media. And to this day, I'm still a huge fan of the web slinger.

This and Spider-Man 2 were the games of my childhood. Well, along with Battlefront, Battlefront 2, and Prince of Persia. Really liked kicking back and reminiscing about it. So much has changed about me since then (like me figuring out that I was trans), and yet, not much has changed at all. Nice video.

This is definitely one of my Favorite Spider-Man games of all time, and it's also responsible for introducing me to Ben Reilly. I loved playing in the Symbiote Suit and the Unlimited suit, the former suit was nice because of the bottomless webbing and I liked the latter because of the Stealth mode (Which I imagine made Peter feel quite toasty since that function heats up the suit)

love seeing people appreciate this classic. this & SM2 are a big reason the PS1 is my favorite console. also didn't have a memory card at the time, which made these levels & moments burn further into my mind with each replay. god i miss those days

I love this game to pieces, and the venom chase is honestly pretty decent to me. Though I never got stuck on the wall like you did so I can’t really relate to that level being difficult that much, and also the Monster Ock chase at the end of the game gave me more trouble that the venom chase level ever did because one I get so scared to death by him and the controls don’t help that much either. But besides that it is a great game especially for 23 years ago

This game was awesome, frustration moments aside. Scarlet Spider and Venom's dialogue alone makes the game worth it.

3:11 I remember playing this game for the first time a few years back and this glitch killed me more time than every other part of the game combined. No idea how that made it into the final product.

I know, right? Apparently it's fixed on the Dreamcast and N64 versions, too. The cutscene goes on a little further to have Peter swing to the next building before giving control back to the player. Problem solved!

@@SynthVoice It's been a hot minute since I've played it, but I remember it being super fun and even improving the formula a bit. And it even managed to make the alternate Spidey-Suit system even better, letting you mix-and-match the powers and weaknesses of the different suits!

Im 29 years old. This game was an itegral part of my childhood. It quite literally built the foundation for the man i am today. I watched a clip of Marvel's Spider-Man (pc) with a modded Neversoft Spider-Man suit and I damn near cried happy tears watching the old polygons in action.

Need that Ben Riley costume back, it's so good, man. Very underutilized in spidey games. Game is still great arcade fun. Although, gotta say, i still prefer Enter Electro. Both great either way.

My introductions and months upon months of playing to get through it, was done and experienced on the N64. I really wanna replay it. I have played it and the sequel to it on a ps1 however. but I replay it through steam or something of the sort that would let me play things with a controller on a computer.

This is one of my favorite game ever, i remember how many times i was dying to that crane level before the rhino fight, you had to jump on a platform that fell down or so i remember, it was so complicated for my little brain.

I somehow managed to get a copy of this game but unfortunately the case is cracked their is no instructions manual and the disc is scratch so yeah i have to fire up the old dvd doctor and see it can work its magic on this old boy and give it a play through

Its dosent work period unfortunately and whats worst i only have a ps2 and up till the ps5 so im not sure its even works on the ps2 by the way love you work and good luck with the rest if this series
