Can't believe I was in middle school using your hunter ranger guide, now I'm in college! Good to see that you're still playing and releasing content, cheers Sume.
Hi there. I've been playing the Ranger for a few years and have always enjoyed your content. I do not recall a time where I have ever learned so much in such a short amount of time while simultaneously being entertained. I really appreciate everything you did for us. Such a tremendous amount of information being shared. Just to give you a quick rundown of some things I learned, the actual cast time of rapid strike (not what tooltip says, fox shift not generating AP (or not working with NWK), the 180 degree turn for Gox Shift, didn't know that forest ghost buffs itself or is buffed from focused (since I didn't see that Snipe was buffed from focused when I tested), that dying ruined our DoTs, and all the info on the FS rotation. I've personally been using Binding Arrow in place of Hindering Strike and hadn't considered FS. It looks so much more difficult to use FS in a rotation but maybe I'll give it a shot so I can avoid the pitfalls of binding arrow (most notably the low amount of focused uptime). Looking at that friend list was painful, I've seen similar instances of that as well. Cheers and keep 'em coming.
Omg, I can’t believe it! T.Sume is back!!! Welcome back, buddy! Your builds videos are always thorough and informative. Good stuffs as always! Tyvm for sharing your builds! ❤ Oh 1 question @T. Sume, which Class Features do you use for the 1st Range play style?
Aspect of the Pack or Aspect of the Lonewolf and Seeker's Vengeance in a group. Even if you want to go full ranged Warden, you should still be trying to back attack bosses because SV is just too good compared to all other class features which are pretty bad for supporting a ranged playstyle. It would be great if they move Aspect of the Falcon to base kit, but alas.
@@TSuwantemee , hi and thanks so much for your reply. I got SV for sure, and for the 2nd class feature, so thanks for the info and explanation. I also thought of Aspect of the Serpent,is that good one to use as well?
@@HardRockL1L Since you were asking about the full ranged playstyle, I assumed you wanted to stayed in ranged stance the whole time so AotS is useless here. And even if you were to switch to melee stance to cast Steel Breeze and Thorn Strike, that clas feature is still not worth it. 5% CA from AotP or 5% Accuracy from AotLW is better.
People who say hunter is harder to play are mental. Especially with the new Rate of change feat, you dont even have to double tab that much anymore, you have a 3 sec window to cast all you need. Btw I liked the ranged warden idea, gonna try it I think. Overall the melee warden seems a bit boring to play imo.
Hello Tsume, I found your video very interesting and I shared it with my French ranger friends, though some don't speak English, so I thought I could write French captions for this video. Would it be possible? Ty for your attention!
Hey I think it's easier and better for you to only summarize the parts that you think are useful to share in a message with your friends because translating the whole video is a lot of work. If you still insist, however, I will allow it. Merci o/
Nice to see you back. I'm very impressed you did not use the f-word for such a long time. Are you so creative you can express strong feelings always in a unique way or do you have some standard words and phrases?
As a means of catharsis, I am contented with saying mild words like damn and its variants in other languages for some additional humorous effect. When I was a kid, it was the opposite: cussing and slamming doors when frustrated. After growing up and some self-reflection, I resolved to become much more respectful and matured and to be better than who I was through strict self-control. Thanks for asking! 😆
Normally, SV is always slotted in single target fights unless it is practically useless such as Tiamat and Illusion Dummy in the training room. All the other times, I simply forget to switch class features or I have low expectation of the tank to hold aggro, especially in random que.
