@@gusarcher5446 By the way, with the prices drop due to jubilee event, now could be more convenient getting insignias with diamonds, saving rc for greater shards, using tb for powder like said here. Imo: sincce celestial insignias will come, (probably upgrading cost reduced?) powder you will need more than shards. Get your 360 shards from RC store (90 from epic to mythic collar) is 1 year of daily rc for 4 mythic collars, now with 5 RC you get 1 leg insignias (10 you have to use= 2500 dust to upgrade 1 leg to mythic), so in 1 year you can refine 7 insignias to mythic. Item Level increase/ratings benefits: 4collars +1600 IL while 7 insignias +2100 IL plus plenty of states. To get 1 mythic collar you still need more dust (3000) than the equivalent for 1 mythic Insignias and 'gargatuan' number of glyphs. For 10 leg insiginas from from AH you now spend 1.7 M, 1 shard it's 19000, so 19000 X 90 = 1.71 M - > you better buy 1 mythic insignia if you don't have still completed set (you find good ones like courage, aggression, sometimes brutality even dominance). So, IF my numbers are not erroneus, I would stock up insignia dust from reapers waiting for possible requirements reduction with celestials introduction ( to upgrading my last legendaries, starting the celestials) ; on discounts week, using tarmalunes priority for shards (with the remains some powder), then diamonds for glyphs from WB since with R12 VIP you get 40% discount (or buying from auction, prices will drop that week). Saying this from PC perspective. I welcome corrections, better suggestions.

My past results were either 25 or 20%. Nah, I would open but I want to save just in case.

I run temp chars through the Adventures for the easy AD's (57 so far). Usually I wait 'til the end of the Adventure before converting any Insignias I've picked up from drops or Skill Points. Quite often I'll have up to 10 or 12 Green Insignias by the end of an Adventure like Vellosk which has a metric tonne of Skill Points. When I convert them I'll usually only get one, or maybe zero Crit Conversions. I'd put the crit rate, based on my experience, at somewhere around 8 or 10% max. Given that Gus's math was based on an assumption of a crit rate of 20 or 25%, my question was well and truly answered. It's for sure better to straight up buy the Powders during Trade Bar Events. Im going to get dust from RC, shards with tarmalunes, waiting for WB sales with VIP for glyphs. I have to upgrade some collars, I'll wait for insignias requirements probable reduction when celestials will come

@@abccba5125 *_"what about greater shards?"_* Shards of Empowerment for upgrading Collars? I have no tables atm, but they drop in dungeons as well. I have 1603 Epic Shards and 84 Greater Shards from dungeon drops since they introduced Collars. Of course, the Epic Shards are pretty useless once you have Epic Collars. I also have150 Epic and 30 Greater BtA Shards left over from the freebies they gave us. I've only upgraded two collars to Legendary as the cost was so high for powder and had a low chance of success. Thankfully, they changed it a bit and the next mod will bring more changes to the Trade Bar store, and possibly to upgrade costs. But your idea of using Trade Bars for Greater Shards is sound. 25 bars for 1 Shard, 20 bars during Trade Bar discount. So we can get 4 Greater Shards for 80 bars, much better than 1 Epic Insignia for the same price. I'm not sure about the Reaper Store, I don't farm it much and I only got a Legendary Companion Pack for either the Account-Wide Batiri or Tamed Velociraptor. I've had it for ages, but still not actually chosen which one to get yet. I main Cleric Healer, sub-Main Fighter Tank and Warlock Hellbringer, and play the others for fun and Guild Farming. So I like account-wide mounts and companions! 😃 I have most of those mounts already, and most of the companions that Reaper has. Some of them are not much good, though, so I would never buy them anyway. But looking at the Reaper Store, we can get 1 Greater Shard for 1 Reaper's Mark, or we could get 25 Trade Bars. I'd say getting 25 bars and spending only 20 on a Greater Shard during the Trade Bar Discount looks good. 4 Marks for 100 bars, that's 1 free Shard in every 5. And a Legendary Insignia for 5 Reaper's Marks, which Salvages for, what? 250 Powder? Or 125 Trade Bars from Reaper, and 5 x 24 bars (120 bars) for 20 powder x 5, is 100 Powder. It seems that buying the Legendary Insignia and salvaging it for 250 powder is the much better deal? Check my arithmetic, of course! {:o:O:} _(Edited for tyops)_
