Interesting, didnt know this. Would be nice, somewhat new funny if many companions will have such capacity, to give some items or increase effectivness of dropping some while killing foes, or spawn some old gear not obtainable anymore for cosmetics idk. Just to fool around with differents companions instead of same 2/3 everyone summon
This is a grand idea you present here. Having companions do something not entirely combat related. I mean, heck, we have seen this in the past with insignia bonuses giving RAD and RP so it can't be beyond their realm of possibilities. Ty for this awesome suggestion.
@@gusarcher5446 Different types, related to mounts: dropping insignias (for powder); to companions : dropping companion equipment (almost useless I know, maybe cheap companions themself ?) ; cosmetics: old gear, crappy adventure zones ones for transmute (eliminating the drops from dungeons now);
Ok, i have a question, do people really spend their time finding ways to avoid walls at queues, find not working as intenteded gear/rings/companions/mounts, etc, etc , etc, in short find exploits or not, just to get advantage in the game ? Am i the only one grinding my ass off to get things ? because i'm tired, every two steps forward i take 3 steps back, there are events that like or not you have to do, hardly any time to finish old content, and you have alts too, how do these people find the time ????? please someone share that little trick with me, please ! XD
Hi! I'd say no, most people don't go out of their way to find little tricky ways to get around obstacles or to get a little something extra from existing items. It's more likely they just happened to notice it when they were doing something else (or were told about it by someone else). Aragon's motto, if you've ever seen it in the past, is "Relentless Testing," so it's not surprising that he finds so many of these things. And Gus has done several vids on the Kingfisher with the food drops. I certainly wasn't aware the timer could be reset (but that makes me wonder if you can do it more easily by dismissing, then re-summoning the companion), but I'm pretty sure this will get fixed fairly quickly once the devs take notice. You're absolutely, 100% correct about the grind. I've been there, believe me. I struggle with it every day. So much I want to do, but so little of it actually gets done. I just settle for getting a little closer to my targets every day. Can't really expect to do it all at once. There's no grand finale in an MMO. It's a journey. You just have to get the most fun you can from the ride. I'm not sure if it will work for you, but here's what I do. 1) Make a list of game targets/goals. 2) Prioritize. 3) Find ways to speed up/optimize the grindy stuff (workshop, etc). 4) Work on the highest priority targets as time permits, then switch out to less priority things when that gets boring. Rinse and repeat. // I get more enjoyment from finding ways to make things work better than I do from any content requiring me to be a little cog in the mechanic-laden machine of master trials and dungeons, where the party relies on me to not make any mistakes and I rely on them to do the same. That's way too stressful for me, LOL! Bottom line, do what you enjoy most and don't worry about setting deadlines or missing goals. That's what real life is for (and the biggest reason I have a condo above my workshop in Neverwinter). :D
@@danchan7564 Wow thank you for your kind words, i'll try my best, i just love the challenge the game presents, if it weren't for people like Gus or others, i'd be lost for sure.
I have 1 character and 3 storage characters. Yeah a lot of people look for that kind of stuff, but more people grind and try to make interesting build combos than exploit imo. I don't know how people have 99 characters at like 80k lmao, I feel that would take 36 hours a day when there is only 24 lol. But I do know ways that are legit no exploits to make someone's character stand out above the rest. I feel a lot of us 7+year vets have our little things we have learned over the years
