That looks ingenious! It almost looks good enough to hold an AL enclosure to keep eyes and hands off the bike as well :-(

@gadgetman506 Hi Pal yes the maximum length you can protrude is to measure the length of your wheelbase and then you can go out from the rear axle 60% of that distance, but there is more too it so a check in with the D.O.T is recommended, good luck. The box was 90 by 45 i believe and it is bolted onto the chassis rail with many 10mm hardened steel bolts, hope this helps.

I doubt thats legal, overhang can only be 60% of distance between axle centres.
