Finally found another 250 two stroke dirt bike for the next Project2strokes 2 stroke build! Found this 2003 Honda CR250 on Facebook marketplace and jumped on it to check it out before someone else bought it! I used to live in Florida and can remember all the dog bite and ambulance chaser lawyer ads. Cable tv is literally every other ad. I don’t miss it. I now live in a state that has banned lawyer commercials. Funny thing about it is that hardly anyone sues anyone. Nice find though. $750 is unheard of . Especially for a 250

Get rid of the restyle plastic kit ! Look way better with stock plastic. You might have to split the cases on that, but just do it and make the bottom end new again. The top end is probably bad at the exhaust port bridge. OEM barrels are very hard to find, might have to repair and replace it.

I have a 2002 cr250 and I have vertex Dule ring piston pc Heder pipe and pc shorty vforcr 3 reeds and +2 degrees of timing bored the stock carb and clipped head 5 thousands and beats most if not all other 250s and big bore 250s and I love the way bike rides after upgraded suspension and better pegs and bars

@@jessemacneil2723 They are not really that much different this bike would go for anywhere from 25 to 3500 depending on the season and the buyer. It’s just the exchange rate is different $4000 Canadian is $2900 usd

You can always buy the txrace kit, they have a 2022 crf conversion kit that looks mean, we run them on are oldies, they also come with a seat which is even better

Would be sick if you made a supermoto off this thing. Put the original plastics with a custom sticker set and paint some parts with the color you like. Then you can put black or 50/50 rims on it and some street tires and there you have a hell of a bike. Just a suggestion tho:]

I had a 2002 I did some rebuild on, and I personally like the OEM look of the 07. I hate the polisport restyle kits on the CRs, theyre already really sharp OEM but with the stadium front number plate. Be careful on your engine work, motor cases and cylinders for those are starting to become sparce. Good luck brother!

35 degrees no gloves, oh to be to be young again. Use it fast. Wait till that pond freezes over,stud them tires and get your buddies to play flat. I use to do it with a 175 AT Yamaha with a pipe and a reed and plain old sheet metal screws. 4:00 rear, it fit, 3:50X19 front. It would even float on some snow over 50 mph. It only weighted about 220 pounds. With this equipment the scare factor goes up asymptotically (really fast). I tried that model once. I hit the pants clearing speed in 3 seconds, turned around gave back to the neighbor kid and my son, I was about 48 at the time. Not that old but a little wiser. Stay with those two strokes until some dorkes outlaw them because they add .000000000000001% to climate change. Approximately
