I remember hearing on the news that Obama cancelled further production of the F-22. I thought it was a rather stupid idea. We could use about 100 more while developing the F-35. I always wondered if the F-22 (or several) could have captured a couple of those Chinese bombers that keep intimidating Taiwan. If they did I'm pretty sure China would back off for at least a little while.

Th j20 is a copy of the f22. China stole files to the f22 and f35, and more files from Lockheed Martin, some files from Boeing, and more, some info stolen wasn't reported to the public. Actually, one of the weaknesses of the F-22's design is that it is NOT modular. Some potential upgrades will be difficult or impossible (i.e. cost prohibitive). On the other hand, the F-35 has a very modular design, and it will be able to successfully integrate upgrades for decades to come.

Airgaps were broken 5+ years ago. It was found that when "air gapped" lappy's were booted up, there were signals that were being sent out well above the range of human hearing that would communicate with other pooters in the lab, passing viruses and making air gapping useless unless there were 100% complete shielding from ultra sound.
