NEW “it’s a small world” Featuring Disney Characters, Tokyo Disneyland Ride Attraction POV 2018 

I designed several of the animated props for this ride. Thank you for posting so that I could show my friends and family.

Honestly, I love the addition of the Disney/Pixar characters throughout the ride! I would love if they added that to the ride here at Disney World. It makes the ride feel even more like Disney, and interconnects the world we live in with the wonderful world of Disney.

I had no idea they'd do an extensive overhaul of the indoor queuing area as well. I'm blown away by this reimagined attraction! Hercules, Rapunzel, and Merida? Awesome! Everything about this was seamless, meticulous, stunning, and absolutely magical. Well done, Tokyo Disneyland!

This is BRILLIANT!!! Allowing people to make connections to the places that all of these wonderful movies come from, but without changing too much of such an iconic ride! It’s like they sprinkled a little Disney magic over it! LOVE!

Why is everything in Tokyo and Shanghai Disney SO MUCH BETTER?

This is something all versions of its a small world need. It may be classic without but it adds that element of Disney and putting the characters in their respective countries makes it much better

I'm glad the attraction was given a long awaited makeover! What blew me away was all the characters in their respective nations. I was even more surprised to see Moana in the Pacific island section! Now it makes me wanna go back soon

Again... we need more coverage like this from Tokyo Disney Resort to show everyone how the WDW should be at in regards of state of the art and show quality. And keep in mind that both Tokyo parks are superior in every possible way and only charge $75 a day versus the Magic Kingdom charging close to $120 with tax. We are so robbed in Orlando.

Say what you want about the characters but man, that COLOR! Bright, vibrant, magical, and the contrast against the black background is amazing. If they ever add the characters to WDW I hope it ends up just like this, new paint and lighting included!

Well, now I know what the Florida Small World would look like if it ever gets this treatment (since the layout of Tokyo's SW is a direct copy of Florida's)

the entry is so different from what i remembered ! i've been to tokyo disneyland 4 four times, and this ride is one of my earliest memory, especially when waiting in line and enjoying the beautiful, magical set. i will always love its a small world.

This is awesome! Although I am surprised that no characters from "Coco" were put in Mexico.

They really went all out with the characters! Lighting looks great. I do like seeing totally refurbished attractions as it's almost like seeing something totally new!

THE TICKING, RIDE, BACKGROUND PARADE MUSIC QUEUE IS DIFFERENT!!!

This is quite clever. I missed seeing a few Disney characters I hoped to see, and I want to rewatch the video. Imagine being there and just thinking "oh I'll hop on again and see if I can't catch more." The hunt for Easter eggs is always going to be appealing and of course the more movies come out with worldly characters they can just keep adding on.

It's always dp fun finding your country represented in the small world ride.

Having grown up going to Disneyland in Anaheim I don't think I could ever get used to the versions where the queue goes inside the attraction. I LOVE that the loading/unloading at Disneyland Anaheim is outside. Thanks for the video!!

I love this so much. Small world in Florida has been a big part of me growing up and I’d love to travel to Tokyo disney one day!!

This is just awesome! Love the looks of the characters so they blend right in that's exactly the way it should be. Disney needs to do all of that to WDW, except for the last room, I like our no color scheme and a ton more dolls and movement.

I really wish I could visit the park over seas. That looked Awsume

All I can say is that parks in America really need to step up their game. A lot of classic and beloved attractions are getting gutted to make way for the 'new and improved' ones. I REALLY love this version of "It's a Small World," because while it's different, they added a few dolls here and there, while not taking over the whole attraction. It still feels like It's a Small World, but there's a couple things different. It has the music, and the dolls! It has the essence of the classic attraction. Like they did with Maelstrom, they felt like it was outdated, so they got rid of virtually every aspect of the ride and replaced it with Frozen Ever After. I think with the It's a Small World method, you can please everyone- fans of the classic attraction, and those who want something new.

that art is adorable. it feels like a more modern and softer version of mary blairs but it is very much a beautiful version of the ride

8:13 this is my favorite section of the ride. I love how the music. Fades into the next note and how tropical it sounds. I would shake my hips to it forever. I’m going to Japan soon so hopefully I get to go to their Disneyland. We are always at the Anaheim disneyland, though. Thumbs up of you’re a #annualpassholder 😀👍🏽

They did a really nice job. I got to ride it in late 2015 and it seemed pretty tired at that time.

Wow, the indoor queue is so cool! I mean, Disney World has an indoor queue as well, but not as extensive and pretty! Also nice to see that Tokyo Disneyland has the same problem at the end - a buildup of boats gently ramming into each other while you sit there with nothing to look at or listen to.

My favorite additions are Marie (from "The Aristocats") on the Eiffel Tower- in the French segment, as well as Lilo, Stitch, and Moana in the Polynesian segment! 🗼🌊

This was beautiful! The American Disney parks need to upgrade their Small World attractions to be like this one, bright and new looking, with bright colors and the addition of the Disney characters. The attraction in Disney world is beginning to look a bit shop worn.

YES! Lion King and Lilo and Stitch, as well as Frozen and Moana. I can finally look forward to something on this ride if these figures come to Disney World. It’s a small world is not my favorite ride

It’s cute but I like having both and if I were to choose I’d choose without it simply because I feel the point of the ride is to show how we are all human despite our differences and the Disney characters put a magic in the ride that focuses on Disney, not the point of the ride which is “we are all equal and must share the world we live in since we all live in it, together.” But it”s fun having both.

The margarita earth of TDL is its Critter Country with theming of Southwestern United States with Texas and New Mexico style terrains where those states are places to find unique margaritas, additionally Splash Mountain is themed to Arizona where its capital of Phoenix had a history of filming plantation scenes of Song of the South. The area music loops of TDL's Critter Country are using country-western style with banjos and harmonicas together with the counter service Grandma Sara's Kitchen restaurant's music loops and also Splash Mountain's in ride soundtracks.
