Your home is beautiful. Dont rush the decor when you're unsure. You're right it takes a while to turn a house into a home. I 1000% agree. My kids beds are against the wall also. Kids love their space.
With the long entry way…huge rectangle vertical framed pictures of your kids and a family picture and maybe one of you and your husband, a thinner long length table along the first part of the wall, even a second one where the other one is to match, and 4 faux trees-one on each side of the table and a beautiful big standing mirror in the middle of the tables. ❄️ Such a beautiful home you have! ❄️

I'm enjoying seeing the whole process of your new build. I think when we lived in ours the backyard never did get landscaped and the curtains always looked kind of makeshift.😀

Good morning, I just love your house! It's a blessing. Time and money will make it into the home you love. Can you make a reading nook in the hallway? I can't really judge the width of the hallway. A couple of small comfy chairs and a bookcase or table would help break up the length. Blessings
You never have to explain anything. It's a new Home and you are making it your own space and you'll get there. AND it's Beautiful By the way!! Also as far as the entry goes - Yes some pictures and I would Take the Table you have and move it down to the next section and go to like Home Goods and get yourself a bench ( cloth or wood) and move the shoe basket under that and a pillow or two to the bench. That would be sooo cute. Sometimes less is more and that would be perfect. Love you Channel. You got this !!
Your home is gorgeous. Sometimes for a very low price you can go to the thrift stores. You can find coffee tables, end tables, benches etc. if you don’t like the way they look, you can stain or paint them. Even if you just used them until you could afford some better ones you like.
Bigger spaces means bigger pieces. I had to learn this as well. Too many smaller pieces will feel cluttered. Go for larger statement pieces. Larger pieces of art as well. Not a lot of little. You don't live in a small house anymore. Think BIG lol.

Julianne if you use anything with bleach please wear gloves I caught a fungus under my nails because of bleach I wish I had used gloves because it is hard to get rid of I love your new home I love this video I hope you have a blessed day 😊

In terms of the entryway, maybe you can get a big console or buy two sideboards and put it together so it takes up the majority of the wall? Then a wall mirror to be able to check yourself out or wall hooks.
You don’t have to fill the spaces if you don’t want to. If it makes people happy then great but my house is mostly empty and we like it this way. Life is easier this way
Hey Julianne. I’ve been watching for years now. I’m in L.A. I bought my last bedroom rug based on yours from Wayfair because I loved it so much. What did you do with yours? I still love mine but the corners won’t stay down. lol. Anyway, I adore your new bedroom rug now. I might have to purchase that one, too. I think picture frames or artwork is more popular now for above the bed. Signs kinda seemed to go out along with farmhouse. I still keep a few touches or farmhouse here and there but mostly I’ve gotten rid of it all in favor of more like the Studio McGee look. Anyway, I love the new house. I liked the old one but this one is just as fantastic. Have a nice weekend.

I think its better to take your time decorating a new home and all the bedrooms. It's best to go slow and decide what you love. Also I see people online put up like board and batten (or whatever) in long halls. It looks so good. Then you don't beed a ton of decir, but it adds interest.
I’ve had the same exact question.. we are on our third warranty rep and he seems to be much better than others 🤞🏻 once everything is fixed I do plan on talking about our experience
