I enjoy that you have a visual artist's eye. A few art, art history, and interior architectural drawing classes long ago, helped me with a bit of that. Those color flows and decor placements are eye-appealing, because you repeated grey (could be any color) at the 3 visual levels in landscape painting---Foreground---Horizon---Sky, which relates to the 3 levels of interior architecture--Floor---Wall---Ceiling. Your grey porch rug---grey bench seat fabric---greyish greenery on wall shelf, are the 3 levels for color flow that "pleases the eye", according to Monet and DaVinci and more. For me, your porch and foyer have very inviting and comfy vibes. 💖💕🥂.

@@MonicaRoseDecorYou have the self-taught natural talent, apparently. My mom and Godmother had that gift with their excellent seamstress abilities and porcelain doll making talents. I was self-taught at piano before 7 yrs old, but my mom had me take lessons for 6 months, in 2nd grade, like my older sister had. I was good at playing 70s Rock, and super fast "chopsticks" 😜. But, practice lessons of Waltzes and hymns for daily Mass didn't interest me much. So, I didn't get any "A"s in piano, like my sis always got ☺.

Your porch looks really pretty! Love your wreath! I’m so anxious to plant some flowers but it’s still just a bit early for us here in KY. We had a hard freeze last night and expecting another tonight. It actually snowed a little yesterday. I hope this will be the last of the cold. TFS. I love your cozy home! That rug and pillow you put on the porch...will you bring it in when it rains? I find that when I leave stuff like that out in the rain it get ruined...I forget to bring it in :(

Thank you❤️ The area on my front porch stays dry when it rains. It’s covered very well. I live in Las Vegas so we don’t see a lot of rainy weather anyway.
