Such a great song and video! Wow, we had great music in 1967! When looking at Billboard top 100 for 67, it is incredible. Thanks so much for this one.😊👍
By far my favourite Monkees song.I was only 8 when it came on TV in 1967 but I remember precisely where I was at the time I 1st heard it.Bought the 45 the next day.👍🇨🇦
Yeah, those memories of the summer of '67! Never a rainy day, always carefree. My favorite Monkees tune, as it perfectly encapsulates that feeling. And no one cared if Mickey and Davey could actually play their instruments. Thanks again Sammy!
Micky, the funny, goofy drummer who could make me laugh, was my tv boyfriend! 😌 Ha! My older sister (by 5 yrs) had their albums and I’d sit and stare at the covers - thinking how cute he was. 😍 Love their music! 🥳One of Oklahomas State Representatives - Mickey Dollens is named after him, he’s 36 yrs young & his parents loved the Monkees, too!
One of my absolute favorite bands with a super song that again proves to me what a great time I grew up in👍😃👍! Top video, many thanks Sammy and have a happy Wednesday! Cheers, E.H.
This was long after Kirshner was fired. If Mike looks upset it might be because this and the other "rainbow room" videos were filmed on what was supposed to be a day off for the guys in the middle of their summer 1967 tour. This studio was located in Chicago and years later it became the home of the Oprah Winfrey Show
