there is no quality control in China. Tjat;s why Ford has a classaction lawsuit for the Chinese made junk trannys they put in Mustang & oeioke git rear ende. I could go on and on and on,
American cruisers are the best even though the fuel efficiency is poor because they have the rustic charm. Mainly due to larger stroke in ratio of stroke is to bore.
Something about that Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster at the beginning of the video, it's just sublime, but with a seat height of only 705mm it's just too low for me as I'm 6'4" tall. I just wouldn't sit quite right on such a low riding boke. It is beautiful though, I think the Kawasaki Eliminator is perhaps more to my tastes. A little higher seating position too.
I've owned (5) bikes (2) Harleys. Road King and a V-Rod My 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 T DCT is by far the most comfortable by far and the least expensive!!!
vulcan S ,one of the the best? if we are still in year 2016, maybe.. just look at that very old analog w/ LCD... it is screaming " PLEASE UPGRADE ME ASAP ". that shit has never been touched since 2015.
Harley did a stupid thing by ditching the Iron 883 and 1200. Lost all of their beginner customers as well as a lot of more experienced guys who just wanted a middleweight cruiser. Now they have this sporty looking ugly nightsters instead that only look bearable from the right side while causing vomiting reflexes from the left side
OVERALL FOR THE MONEY AND PERFORMANCE I HAVE TO SAY THE KAWASAKI VULCAN , YES I DO OWN ONE AND FOR THE MONEY ITS THE BEST WITH PLENTY OF POWER FOR EVERYDAY DRIVING ,,, JUST 1 THING FOR ANYTHING LONGER THEN AN HOUR DRIVE YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE SEAT.
How to chose a good bike: Imagine it's 5 years later, and the engine locked up, and you now have to take the head off and rebuild the engine. Can you do it without tearing the bike completely apart? If it looks like it would be an absolute nightmare to do this, then don't buy the bike. Buy the bike that looks simple, easy to work on, and that will last 50 years... that you can rebuild parts for from scratch once they don't exist any more. Also imagine you'll have one duffel bag permanently strapped on there to carry stuff, and a second when you go camping. Will it fit? Can it carry it? When you car breaks, or you lose your job, you're going to have to use your motorcycle to bring your groceries home on it.
Nice as all these single seater style bikes look, they're automatically losing customers that want the option to take their woman out with them. Are they for incels only?
