Those shocks will do so much better with 80 wt oil, and add some rocket fans, as well as a Dumbo X6F/X6FG with Gyro, can adjust the Gyro on the fly from 0% to 100% on the fly with the channel 6 rotary knob. You can use the acetone on other screws you want to remove as well. Enjoy, Great Channel.
_Very good to see you using actual hand tools unlike alot of these people who come at these delicate RC's with freaking impact drivers, and high torque drills!😂_ _(They truly have no clue the damage they are doing!)_
Shark fin zip ties thats going to hurt lol. Still looks a little easier than pulling a center diff out of a Traxxas I just did mine on the Maxx Slash same problem too lots of dirt in there
I’m jumping back and forth watching that ridiculous debate… my lord help us🙏anyway, it doesn’t sound like monkey metal… or at least high quality monkey metal…like silverback metal 🐒💨 pOOf! I’m just sayin’
I heard of the MJX braces being impossible to remove so when it came time to work on my friend's MJX drfiter, i told him to heat up the center brace in an attempt to loosen it up. Took a few minutes pulsing a gas torch. Came right apart, was FILLED with whatever they use as threadlocker.
I swear my Xmaxx handles like crap because everything is so rubbery. Suspension needs something pretty rigid to mount to in order to function properly. Race cars are rigid for a reason.
Bruh, its a 1:5 monster truck.. what do you expect? It being real tight on the tracks and never tip. Its a 9kg unit. If you want stability and performance you should get a sledge.
Seems alright and ya man thats alot of screws to work on it and i think they could have just made the arms flexible and the bumper and keep the rest of it more solid of plastic.....
Forgot to mention. When reinstalling the the screws into the the the plastic, use craft hobby plastic glue adhesive. It dries hard and secures great, however, it will still allow you to remove them with no stripping. When securing the screw, remove the handle from the the Hex Driver, and use just the hex/screw driver without the handle and hand tighten.
Use a plastic bottle oil/glue applicator with tip and put acetone on the center brace screws, stand it upright, let it sit for a few hours. The center brace will unscrew with ease.
