You guys made the right choice the Cummins has been an work horse for a real long time. I imagine you stay on top of maintenance and it'll run ya a long time shame they skimped on the Fords maintenance
My mom died when I was 27 on October 7, 2004 in a head on collision leaving our town of Society Hill South Carolina. 4miles out. I got married at 18 and the wife 19. We just had our son and was 4months old at the time. Today is 17 yrs without her. When I saw Mrs. Vicky helping Billy get the lint off his shirt it reminded me because my mom done the same with a lint roller and always would make sure I was good even after I was married. My first car was a 6spd z28 and I loved it so much its tattooed on my arm with ratfink hanging out the ttop.lol I don't care what it is, if you have the time, knowledge and money you can make it fast. I work at international and the 7.3 isn't bad. When test driving you were probably write about just being filters but if the previous owner ram stuff to plug them up what else did they not keep up on. Did they run the correct additives for the high pressure pump and injectors. Src did the write thing not buying it. If it has one problem that wasn't kept up on what else could be going on. With pricing of diesel trucks going up like crazy why would someone get out of a nice looking truck like that? Without knowing there situation it's best to walk away on the truck.
Ive got a tuned 97 7.3 f250. about 250k miles on it. It makes great torque and a great truck and will tow anything. The only problem ive had is it burned up its injector harness in the valve cover.
Makes sense the 7.3 guys don’t know the difference between Wright and right I personally am a Cummins and cat fan but every diesel and every gas motor has its own set of problems definitely just a plugged fuel filter on that truck tho
@@shaunmilor true those parts are easy to change out. On highmilage one I replaced them and bring me out the torque wrench so down the road I wouldn't have to hear about crushing them. Also the all have there issues like mentioned. Be t and thing the huei set up does on any engine is something it will split a tip on the injector and go dancing around getting banged up on top the piston and cylinder. Also the cat 3126 used this setup. And once in awhile it happens.
TrickFlow is capable of putting out some amazing stuff. Especially with TEA basically in the same building. Badass to hear they're willing to get behind your program! Congrats and keep it up!!!

Im with u on that. I grew up on fords but i dont bleed so much blue i dont give credit where its due. Hell i had a iroc z in high school bc i just liked the way it looked. I have a low mile 7.3 truck, but i have to give it to dodge on going with a cummins they know how to make a strong diesel. And ole man didnt bash ford it was just not a good truck and they needed to stay away from it. That guy was just a ass hat.

But dominated our class for 5 years awesome support from summit they overnighted to the racetrack the season finals. Huge fan of trickflow and Brodix. Both been super reliable and great support.

I have a 2010 Ford F-250 with the 6.7 king ranch and it gets worse gas mileage then my wife 01 gmc Denali and my truck only has 30k on it you guys are the hi light of my day keep up the great work thanks we love y’all

I’m a Ford guy and have been for about 34 years. My first running vehicle 😁 was a 81 sh!t brown F100 and from there I was hooked. That being said, the trash talk is part of it and all in fun. Good luck with the dodge and please don’t let whistlin’ get a hold of that truck 😢
hey! you can get new seat foam and vinyl cover for that dually drivers seat pretty cheap on eBay from a place out of Houston. I did that on my GMT400 and it has held up well, even though I didn't think it would. pretty easy job. you'll appreciate a nicer seat...

I seen a community post by nick and someone asked if he had gotten the oil leaks fixed before he hurts someone.. his reply was him nor his official crew were told about it and it left a mist of oil nothing major and it was being blown out of proportion just for content in order to make a video. I respected him until I seen that on his looking for a new trailer cause seller fell through post.
There is no way in hell he didn’t know. It had to have had oil all over the car and puddles in his pit area. Not to mention the door flew off of it during his last pass.

As a diehard Ford fan, I would like to publicly state that we do not have any affiliation with the author of that email🤣 you even said that the truck had issues and it wasn't characteristic of what a 7.3 should do. I love the src channels and will continue to watch them, I guess some people are just too tender hearted.
