The new ones seem way too over-engineered. That's why I love the Reeboks and Adidas Box Hogs. Keeping it simple no BS, lightweight and nimble.

I have box hog 3s I loved them but literally after probably using them like maybe 15/20 time’s they have started to come away at the back on both shoes , quite disappointing

The first version is visually perfect for me. About the new one they have used the same material in basketball shoes and they are less durable than the materials in the first one, especially if someone step over your foot it's a material more vulnerable and the same applies if you do toe drags. Great review.

Good call on the toe drags actually. But I wonder how durable these are in that department. I toe drag on some slides and pivots and I have 4 pairs of KO 1.0 which work totally fine.

@@mark6865 it depends on the gym's type of floor but this type of material will be less durable than the first version. In a wood floor it wouldn't be a great issue but if your gym has a rough floor I would search other boots.

Really glad you like your new boots. Always nice to see ppl happy with their new gear. Felt the same when I got my lo-top Rival Guerreros... Wore them like slippers around the house and I'll probably be buried in 'em.

Not watched the review yet, nor have I looked at the comments but the original hyper ko is an elite level boot. It’s so good I’m sure the only reason why mayweather never wore them was because they were so linked with manny pacquiaou and his brand deal with Nike(hopefully I haven’t butchered his surname😂) the hyper ko that could also be used as road trainers was a step even above those

Size US 11 Hyperko 1.0 【10.48oz】 for 1shoe Hyperko 2.0 【14.50oz】 for 1shoe Shoe weight increase by 40% It is even heavier than a normal basketball shoe which is around 11oz to13.5oz per each.

Yes definitely heavier boot I can’t say I’ve noticed it when I wear them but I do have big legs and I’m a big guy 6,4 100kg

Me too I will soon retire the original hyper ko boots Fit2box ratings cards to ‘legend’ status as they are pretty much sold out most places now having been discontinued

I honestly like the look of the new boots but honestly both look amazing and I wish they’d just keep both cuz I’m Ngl the boots I got are super uncomfortable even after breaking in for me. I have one flat foot but still I feel like that sole that reaches up to the side of the foot digs into my skin alot

2.0 just seems over designed and in my opinion its better when the boxing shoes are kept simple thats why nike hype ko original is better nice and simple with a cool look

Opinions are subjective of course. But these new Hyperko’s are hideous. To top it off, seems like @Fit2Box is trying HARD to sell ‘em. I think the worst thing about them is that OBNOXIOUSLY LARGE Nike Swoosh. I’m sure they’ll sell, because...Nike.

Idea for something different.... Maybe a video going over the construction of a boxing glove? Or interview someone on the process? You could discuss different types of leather, padding, or shapes etc. Just an idea.

Hey, as always, a great review! I have a question about hyperKo I. Are the lengths the same as hyperko II. I have a Hyperko II in size 11UK (there is a bit of slack) and I wonder if the size 10.5UK or 11UK will fit better.

Re the original hyper kos Mine have never SOME boots have only ONE size on the label This is the US size NOT uk size so if the boot has only one size (US) on the label not 2 (uk and US) I am a US 12 Uk 11 I have done a few videos on this For my 2.0s I have to go a size up UK 12

Well like anywhere there are good and bad manufacturers Fly x is made in China and are some of the top gloves And loads of top brands get their gloves made in Pakistan Lots of the rubbish fakes do come from Pakistan
