i passed my permit without extensive studying. the test is just like what you see online in permit practice tests and quizlets. it’s mostly common sense. make sure to read the dmv booklet to know how to drive ofc. pray and you will pass!
@@darthsidious1026 for example, "when children are present in a school zone, what is the speed limit." The answer is 25 mph. There are questions about road signs. "When parked uphill, which direction should the wheels be facing when there is no curb."

@@zaymirahoward the wording can be tricky but it was a 2 part knowledge I think it was 4 or 5 questions for the first part and then 30 the second, but u had to get the first 5 all right to go to the next section.

Just got back from the DMV, passed and got my learners permit! I only got one question wrong and the computer shut off before I finished all 32 questions. When studying I used this website and kept seeing people ask if they passed using this and no one responds so I thought I’d add: I used this and free written exams online. Personally, the free exams on google was often literally the same questions on the exam. Like- I’d say more than 50% of my questions I saw on the free exams I did. A lot was common sense but one or two were pretty tricky. I’d still recommend reviewing the book.good luck, use your resources and the exam should be pretty easy! I think some of these questions were more difficult than the actual DMV exam so if you’re doing this and getting them correct the actual test shouldn’t be a lot. Best advice: Take advantage of the free exams. The more exam questions you do the higher probability of you passing. Read the rationale and learn.

Today I went to take my permit test a failed they gave me another chance tomorrow so I’m studying more with these videos and quizlets and online practice tests I’ll update tomorrow if I passed. Update: I passed mostly watching types of videos like this and practicing online quizzes
The permit test is so easy you dont even have to study. As long as you are paying attention in your 8 hour class (or however long it is for you mine was 8 hours), then you should pass easily. I got a 96% on mine. Best of luck to all of the younger drivers!
I’m studying for the writing test for New York but some questions here are confusing me because the answer don’t match with the chapter that dmv provides online So be careful I suggest go straight to dmv chapters and use this videos as extra help

There are some test with similar questions but they are worded harder to understand and other test that only ask you the rules about fines and how much people have to pay for them. I got the fines test and failed that one because they didn’t have those types of questions in the practice test
I think the best thing to study is the book, give your kids a timeline to read it 3 times. If your kids have a hard time focusing when reading there is a permit book reader online. Good luck!
