That's exactly the message I was trying to convey, I just didn't package it properly. I'll pin your comment so that those who are confused can get some clarity.

The bottom line for me is that there are far too many options on today's vehicles. It is confusing for the potential buyer and in the end is a money making enterprise by the auto makers. I do not believe that most motorists are demanding all of these options. There is dishonesty involved as well. On several occasions I have asked if a basic car is available, only to be told that I would have to order one and that it will take several months for the order to be filled. This is not acceptable. Dealers are just going ahead and ordering vehicles that have either a full or a partial bunch of expensive options. Maybe these options don't add so much to the buyer's monthly payments but for those of us who can pay cash, the difference in the purchasing price is considerable. Keep up the honest reporting Muzi.

@@rudyardharrison4177 check the VW configurator and you will see the Polo has way too little options and I love that.

As an owner of a polo vivo, I think the base model polo is a great offering. None of the missing features are a deal breaker to me cos performance wise they are just the same.

No the base model also comes with the active info display as standard now. Just bought one and didn't need to pay extra.

I'm sure you can. You retrofit those, check on RU-vid just type retrofitting a center armrest in a polo tsi you will get a tutorial

You need to consider your lifestyle holistically. Do you have kids, do you really need an SUV, what kind of off-roading are you gonna be doing cos a T-cross is not really an off-road car. Top signs you are about to make a bad decision 👇 1. You compare cars of the same brand 2. Compare cars in different segments (SUV vs Hatchback)

@@MuziSambo Awe!!! Confusion upon confusion but this will definitely help... I am just wondering outside VW what other cars can offer a peace of mind in terms of: fuel consumption and that wont even take all one's hard earned but again to withstand gravel roads.. maybe your top 3?

@@MuziSambo 6.5 would be great but mostly I would appreciate one that is 6000 and below considering that one has to check insurance and the fact that being in my 20s and my licence is just 2 years. So cost is important kum. So nje ndifuna somethign that will help me save and not cry at the end

I think thats only available on the R-Line or Life DSG. The Life manual and the entry-level are both 70kw

Some dealerships are saying it might come in march and some are saying August. The issue of R-line is just confusing.

No info on pricing at the moment, VW tends to share pricing info closer to the launch date of the cars.

But it comes standard with LED lights, reasonably sized infotainment screen and a standard digital display. I think the price is reasonable considering its place in the market
