New 2023 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Ride Review | New Launch | New Features | 

We have Hero super splendor xtec , Passion xtec and glamour xtec in my family . Super splendor and glamour always gives 70-72 kmpl(tank to tank) on highway . While the mileage king Passion xtec gives 75-78 kmpl(tank to tank) on highway and sometimes we even got 80kmpl on Passion pro.

I only reject platina 100 due to tube tires, Because tubeless are more safe ,so i choose platina 110

@@ssrchamp1237 We can install tubeless tyres for Platina 100 too. Yeh brake liners and chain for both are same. It will cost 9700 for 2 tubeless rims (can install those rims of Platina 110 for 100) and 4200 for 2 tyres.

To be honest, you are downgrading to a lower Cc bike but it comes with better safety, more mileage and high speed stability and the best ground clearance on a commuting segment bike. Tyre size upgrade is not advised for the bike sir.. Due to many reasons.. First, you will have to think about the width of the rim and the width of the tyre that stock rims can accommodate without compromising the integrity of the wider tyres because if the tyres are wider than the rims can accommodate, over a period of time the tyres are going to lose its original structure. that is very much possible because the tyres going to experience a pinch effect that will over the period of time disfigure the tyre on the whole. By not allowing the sidewall to act individually like they are supposed to especially in terms of radial tyres leading to disfigurement while cornering. This can prove fatal for safety and handling as well. This will also impact the power, handling (city or traffic ride) and overall mileage (much needed due to fuel prices hike). Other things like hand guards, engine guards, dual saree or load carrier like ct -x can be installed after market. Engine Or crash guard can also be part of it. Platina is mostly known for easy ride, best in class traffic handling, more mileage and less maintenance buy keeping it at 70+kmhr speed on highway can be a little stressful for engine.. I would say below 79kmhr it's going to be ultra smooth.. However, I am posting a high speed mileage and stability test in 3-4 days which will help many people looking to buy this bike. Once again, thank you for taking time out to comment. Kanthara is an excellent movie, I watched it twice with family at home.

I think you can also consider yamaha Fzx. Though ground clearance is not 200mm, it will meet all your requirements with slight differences. At 70kmph you can get 50+ kmpl, though weighs around 137-140kgs you will not feel that weight and handles excellent because of Yamahas brilliance. Excellent breaking and great suspensions. Moreover I will not recommend platina on highways, my dad has one and it is best on village/towns only.

mere experience k anusar haath rakh ke chalane par koi prblm nehin aata,bt haath rakh k front break daba k chalane par prblm aata hain.same applies to clutch lever

Good observation 👍🏻 it's not a good habit holding on clutch lever or front or rear lever

It is actually a good habit. During emergency you do not have to reach to the levers but now you only need to pull the levers saving you precious milliseconds. BTW it is a lever and lever needs to be pulled to engage it does not engage only by touching.

it is not about power, the gear ratio matters

@@anuanganvi4802 Hi! Ofcourse the gear ratio will matter. Now the gear ratio between any 2 gears should be such amount that the torque range should overlap. Conaider an example, 2 engines produce same power but they have different design to utilize that power into 2 different torque. A: 10 bhp into 12 nm torque (torque to power ratio: 1.2) B: 10 bhp into 8 nm torque (torque to power ratio: 0.8) A is converting higher amount of torque from same power, so, eventhough, max torque will be high but it will cover less range of rpms and rev range and torque range will be lesser. B is converting lesser amount of torque from same power, so, here, max torque will be less but it will cover a wide range of rpms and rev range and torque range will be higher. If A has below power & torque rpms: 10 bhp @ 7500 rpm 12 nm @ 5500 rpm Torque range: 3000~6000 rpm Then for B, due to crank design and stroke size changes, the same power will make the engine rev higher: 10 bhp @ 9000 rpm 8 nm @ 8000 rpm Torque range: 2500~8500 rpm Now, there is some minimum and maximum gear ratios due to max torque. And between them, a set of gear ratios are used to fill the gap between minimum and maximum gear ratio in such a way that, for any gear ratio, if upshift is done, for next gear ratio, the rpm should not go down below minimum torque range. So, to cover the gap between minimum and maximum gear ratio, A has to use more no. of gears whereas, B has to use less no. of gears. You can also take below example: SP 125 (5 gears) Super Splendor 125 (4 gears)
