The Infotainment screen IS a touch screen. It works as such for native Mazda apps when parked. For CarPlay and AA you can change the settings to allow touchscreen control while moving.
How are you liking your machine grey? I did like the black but here in the UK, the weather is too wet and dirty and will ruin the sleekness of the black paint. I’m torn between platinum quartz and the artic white 😩 Opinions?
It would have been good to show people how to set the opening height of the tailgate. I needed to set a maximum opening height because of my garage door. When fully open it hits it. Luckily I used to have a Volvo that you could set the height with and the Mazda worked the same way.
Im surprised every Australian review of CX-60 always misses the fact touch screen is enabled with AA/Carplay. Even while driving, touch can be enabled.
Nice job Kyle, I bought the CX60 PHEV AZAMI from a local metro SA Mazda dealer. His hand over left a lot to be desired. He did not go through half of what you demonstrated. In fairness to him we were one of the first, so as he admitted he was still learning. But still! In your presentation you mentioned that the wall plug cable came with the car is that correct?
That is awesome! Congratulations on your CX60!!! They has been a little bit of learning to get use to how the Mazda Plug-in systems works yes! Technically the wall plug cable is a genuine Mazda accessory that Mazda charge to the customers, a lot of dealerships have been including these with the purchase of the car I believe. I'm glad that the video was helpful to you!
Kyle ...I had a question about the TCS , if I switch it off, will it always stay off ? i find some settings I tweak are back again in their default status when I start next. software V 14014. ..also on some forums I find 14016 is out there but the car does not d/l them...is that a strategy to 'go to the dealer' ? ...Thanks for any help. Wonderful video btw, You have been 'liked' :)
much like i-stop in most Mazda models i believe TCS defaults as on in Australian models as its apart of the ANCAP 5 star safety rating for the car. don't quote me on this though, i also believe is you permanently keep it switched off it could give you issues if you ever need to make a warranty claim...
Turns out it doesn’t!! Been to Mazda in the valley and they can’t tell me how to do it. They said it needs a 3rd party adapter (that Mazda can officially recommend!)
The car that i used to film had only 9km on the odometer at the time. so it had only been driven on and off of a few boats and truck trailers so obviously the fuel economy wouldn't be that great considering it had never driven any more that 60 seconds at a time lol
Mazda haven’t told us whether this is the case, it’s been a lot of trial and error, I only know of the air con and a few radio settings so far, I’m still yet to trial that
you can use teh voice commands to call someone from your phonebook. otherwise all you have to do is select communication, then contacts to chose it manually.
Great review. Any known fix for hybrid system malfunction error. Car stops dead and looses power while driving. Happened me twice in first month towed to mazda service garage twice. Very worrying
Hi Mate, sorry to hear that! I unfortunately can't answer that question as this is the first im ever hearing of it as well... Hopefully your local Service centre can sort something out!
@@GingyKM I'm also interested as reviews online talks about the stiff ride and the transition from hybrid to petrol not as smooth. My wife has a CX-5 and I like the sharpness of the steering compared to my CX 9 which I'm trading in for the PHEV GT model.
