Gundam Factory Yokohama (GFY) is an amazing place where you can experience a dream come true of an actual moving life-sized 18m Gundam.
Today is Dec 17 and there is a special winter production “GFY Winter Illumination feat. ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury’.
You don't need to be a fan or watched Gundam to enjoy this show,
engineers came to GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA from all over the world to research, analyze and rebuild the mobile suit. It is definitely a master piece and If you're coming to Tokyo Japan soon I hope you guys can visit it in person before it closes on 31 March 2024! So glad it has been extended!!!!!
Ticket: 1650 yen (includes Gundam base and lab)
Dock: extra 3300 yen (includes the above plus dock access)

I reckon!!! Gundam fans were having the time of their life and for me it was very special and awesome too even though I haven’t seen any of the series or movies. It made me want to start it and I do have it on my to watch list now :)

I stayed to 2 shows, the program is so well arranged - it literally feels like watching two different things. Not just a repeat. Really good. Realllly good. Wow lisa!!! That is soooo freaking cool!! Surprisingly, Never was a big fan of gundam even though I love anime. But this is too good to miss! Hopefully I can find the time to go see it before its gone for good!!

i hope that you are able to visit Japan in the next 6 weeks. it closes down at the end of march... its still a miracle they remained open. covid killed tourism but its tourism hope kept this attraction alive longer than they planned to keep it open,

i missed out on a platform ticket last november but saw 2.5 shows on ground level. finally got around to a Gundam cafe which i put off way too much then covid and the cafe's disappeared. got some nice merch from there. the walk through Motomachi was beautiful! almost shed a tear when i arrived at the port. it was a dream come true. next is Fukuoka Lalaport.

Hi Jonathan... I didn't get to do the platform either.......... hehe. but yeh saw 2 shows, it was just as enjoyable. Yeah right? its' so beautiful there. I assume you've done the Odaiba unicorn gundam? Man that show is awesome too~ Hope you visit the fukuoka lalaport one soon!!!!! Go in mid November - beautiful autumn leaves.

@@HarpistinJapan yeah 2019 I you'd be a bit closer to unicorn, 2022 not so much, maintenance thing. It was still impressive It did give me enough time to zip over to Tokorozawa Sakura town after a quick walk in the mall behind unicorn and gundam store. One of the best spontaneous choices I made nov 22. Wasnt sure if I had time for it in 1st place.

They really trust their product to move it after just getting it live. Though will the Gundam have live shows at the new locations or not? Sad feels like they just opened.

I binge watched the first series and it's awesome (and it's also yuri, which is totally cool as well!) and can't wait for season 2 to releasing in the U.S. Season 1 ended on such a cliffhanger, I almost lost it! And I'm not usually a mecha fan, but the storyline and characters are just so fantastic! I'm jealous I won't get to see this show. 😫😭
