I have seen and try out this watch in flesh....the dial is just gorgeous 😍 but if you have wrist less than 7in, I think it will be too big. For me honestly I wish it has a spring drive rather than the high beat...and hide those ugly power reserve at the case back. Make it clean like this one...I also think it's about time Grand Seiko update their bracelet...need to compete with the swiss counterparts.
@OntheWrist personally I only love sports watches, dress watches is never my life style. Unfortunately, most of the GS sports lines have that annoying power reserve on the dial. In all honesty, I think this GMT dial is probably the best I have ever seen. The RU-vid video sometimes doesn't do justice. The sky seems like in 3D. At the moment, I just hope they will release the same dial with spring drive... and at least have the on the fly adjustment instead of the pathetic micro adjust... and I will be all over it.
@@orangedan5424videos rarely do GS justice. I totally agree with the micro adjustment vs variable like so many micro brands are doing. In general I wish luxury brands would embrace quick release straps and fully adjustable straps & bracelets
The hi-beat really does have a nice sweep to it if you look closely in the video and has some great heritage behind it. Spring drive is very cool, but this movement has a lot going for it too. You’re right, it’s the point of the limited edition ;)
I had this and the Green and white Hotaka mountains GMT in my hands. I couldn't justify the extra money for this one. So got the Springdrive instead. But this is an awesome watch in the hand!
