We got on the water with the brand new 2023 @skeeterteam ZXR19 with it's 225hp Yamaha SHO to get some first impressions and walk through what the boat has to offer. Shop current Skeeter inventory: www.bucksislan...
Personally I believe a lot of folks are messing the best part of skeeters zxr19 evolution. No Metal decking up front. That's the worst part of skeeters. That stuff popps of and rust.
just asking whats the speed difference in the zxr 19 and the zxr 20. i currently have a zx 200 and i am upgrading before long, and im just wondering the difference in the speed.
We didn't have that ZXR19 fully broken in when we shot the video. We'll work on getting more information on that, or somewhere on the internet some ZXR19 owners will be happy to share their experiences. If they turn out anything like the difference between the ZX225 and ZX250, there won't be much difference. Upgrading from a ZX200, probably a good place to start is how much more are you looking for? Are you also upgrading electronics in the process? In this class of boat, once you start adding a ton of electronics, the math can end up making some sense to just go with the ZXR20 which already has some of the stuff you want. Good luck with your search. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
It almost seams like for the amount you pay the ZXR20 is the better deal at the end of the day because it comes with the blades and ultrex and all that you already get those things. By the time you have all those things installed on the 19 the money would be close to the same wouldn't it?. I'm looking at trading my boat before next tournament season , so I've been looking for best bang for my buck lol! 😅 beautiful boat either way though.
You definitely need to do the math if you’re going to do a massive electronics upgrade on this class of boat. Sometimes if you’re upgrading a bunch of stuff, it may make sense to buy the bigger boat.
