I have a truck with some minor scratches in the windshield from a previous owner. Maybe scraped the windshield with something that wasn't an ice scraper. Any tips or products you recommend?
Today's Turtle Wax is not your Father's Turtle Wax... The brand has really come a long way since the 1st time I used their compound and Wax in 1980. TW's current day lineups of the Ice and Hybrid Solutions lines are terrific products and perfect for weekend warriors and/or detailing enthusiasts. Great Job TW and Thank You!
Turtle Wax are truly stepping up their game! I'm so glad they're bringing up such solutions for very common issues. With no need to visit special shops unless absolutely necessary.
Great to see a company that's been around so long, like Turtle Wax, to still be innovating and improving their products. When I need to replenish my detailing products I intend to give TW plenty of consideration. I have been quite pleased with the TW products I have used recently.
The wait is finally over has anybody had the pleasure to try any of these new products the pure shine looks incredible i absolutely love turtlewax products been using them about 6/7 years now
These new products here were only officially made available for sale on Friday (Jan 13) so I don't think any members of the public has had a change to officially test them yet.
@@PanTheOrganizer so I've got two that I really like at the moment. One is at the cheaper end of the market, which is great value for money with how good it is - Turtle Wax Hybrid Hydrophobic Sealant Wax 500ML The other one I really enjoyed using and had great results from but does cost a little more money but worth it is - Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic & Graphene Paste Wax Kit What is your favourite?
Thanks for this clear video. Looking forward to using the trim restorer and scratch repair. Turtle Wax really seems to have reinvented itself with their updated product line.
Pan, another awesome video. Turtle wax continues to impress with the quality and value for your money. Their products are easy to use and available at many stores.
Thank you! I appreciate the positive feedback. Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RU-vid as we surpassed 845,000 subscribers and 106 million views! I have been detailing for 25 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
@@PanTheOrganizer The Graphene Spray Wax is amazing. I put that sh!t on everything. I coated my table saw top with it last year and it is still nice and slick and no rust.
The two interesting products in my opinion are the trim restorer and the self leveling clear coat. I must say Rod had a cool haircut too. Thank you for the video.
Turtlewax has been killing it for the past few years and it kind of saddens me how little innovation has been seen from meguiars which for the longest time was my favorite and go to product line
Since they unveiled the Hybrid Solutions line in 2019, I agree that Turtle Wax has done a complete 180 turnaround and have been continuing their innovations and new product releases. They are truly passionate, plus they're a family operated business.
This 🐢 always blows my mind with her innovations, outstanding products, kudos to the team for being Pioneers and doing breakthru in the détailing World and all of these upcoming products introduced by our handsome pan : perfect 👌.
That looked like you had a blast Pan. New Products are always great to learn about and explore. Can't wait for Spring and testing what you have shown us here can do for my way to many Vehicles..
Wow. I'm impressed. Twenty years ago when I first became interested in detailing, I dismissed all TW products because I found them to be of poor quality. They've come around since then. That carpet cleaner and that trim restorer will definitely be on my spring shopping list.
Still flabbergasted by the value of products like their Graphene Flex Wax. It's been on my van for 9 months, and it still beads water like crazy. Maybe it's a little more fickle to apply than Bead Maker, but it's chemical resistance, and durability are light-years ahead of comparable products. I find myself looking forward to whatever they cook up next.
I’m a little bit conflicted with the fine mist sprayers, a bit of a flare is okay but if it’s that fine the first thing i think of is a lot of overspray getting everywhere or product just being taken away by the wind
I was like a kid in a candy store for sure! Imagine being addicted to detailing products and equipment, and being put right at the place that feeds that addiction! AHAHAH
I love watching your videos and have passed them on to my Daughter who loves keeping her cars clean and shiny. So one quick question I have a 2018 subaru forester how do I clean the door areas and dash that are black and fading. Especially where we rest are arms when the window are down? Thanks keep up those great videos .
Thanks Pan, I am an avid user of the TW Hybrid Solutions Range so I am looking forward to using some of the newest ones when they land here in Australia. Mostly interested in the pure shine one so looking forward to seeing it on my beloved car. As always love the detailed tests you showed mate. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
In the years or decades I've been detailing my cars I've never purchased a TW product tbh. The good reviews of Pure Shine compelled me to give it a try and I am not at all disappointed. Can't lie. It's given my ride that " extra " pop and slickness is next level. I bought it off the TW site with a 20% discount too so we'll worth it.
The effectiveness and simplicity combined make these new products outstanding!! 🐢 Great demo by Turtle wax!! Tks pan for another informative video!! 👍🇨🇦
I've brought most of their ceramic product line my favourite is the all-in-one quick detailer the same one you've shown from your old video last year. It was quick to use & get job done.
That was interesting. Royal Mail (UK) tomorrow (17th) will deliver my Hybrid Graphene Acrylic Trim Restorer, Hybrid Misting Detailer, Hybrid Soft Top and All in One cleaner which was a Protection kit. Order placed before I saw this and will be used on my Sonic Grey FK8 Type R & Race Red Fiesta Sport Van both of which have a good layer of Graphene to the Max wax. I'm looking forward to using the Misting Detailer on both vehicles and hope to see Pan do a more thorough test.
Hey Pan. Great video. I was wondering if you could use the wipe on clear coat (glass bottle) on the headlights? Longer clarity/better clear coat? I love the Hybrid line. Good price, good products.
Interesting new products...looking forward for you to trying them out and for us to watch your videos. You do a better job at explaining the various process than some of the Turtle Wax people, they are good at developing new products however to introduce these and explain their use requires different expertise and we call that expertise Pan... 🙂
Thanks for the kind words about my presentation skills. It's important to me to relay the precise information to my viewers in an educational yet entertaining way, all while also transmitting my passion for detailing to you guys! :)
Another great video. How long does the headlight lense restore kit last. Sounded like 6 months. Does it need to get reapplied on regular intervals after. Thanks
There are no official durability claims on the box, but if I remember, durability, like anything, depends on conditions and other variables, but will likely be 6 to 12 months.
Pan, hopefully the last two questions for a while. I have a car with Avalon King ceramic coating that the coating is about 1.5 years old. I took a trip on a rainy day so the bottom and back and front of the car is pretty dirty. Weather has kept me from washing the car, going on week three now. ( I have no access to a garage with a drain to wash it indoors). Question: Is it better to leave the dirt on for 3 weeks until I can do my regular wash or do a waterless wash on it within a week or so and risk the microscopic "scratches" that waterless wash has to leave behind (or is the ceramic hard enough to keep microscratches from occuring?) I use Chemical Guys "Eco-Smart" waterless wash. Do you reccomend a better one?
It's absolutely better to not wash the car, then to do a waterless wash. A better alternative to a waterless wash is a rinseless wash method. All you need is a bucket of water, and there's very little water that goes on the floor. Watch my method: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p58Y5qRd3OU.html But common sense is needed with a rinseless wash. If the vehicle is super dirty, you have to rinse it first, before washing it.
Hi Mark, easy to say, but not always easy to execute. I'm a one man show normally, I do everything on my own. I was lucky enough to have a film crew with me at SEMA, but I didn't have my gear, and we unfortunately didn't have two wireless lav mics. We did the best we could with what he had. Overall, the videos came out looking great.
I just tried the hybrid scratch remover on two vehicles. It’s pretty amazing. It also works for clear damaged from bird droppings, that was amazing as well. TW sold me when the ICE products came out.
@@PanTheOrganizer I attempted to blend the edges in better with my DA. This stuff is very resistant to polishing, pretty hard coating. I still did not get the edges blended down with a coarse compound, better but not there yet. I will probably have to sand it, my only concern is if it is soft enough to polish the scratches back out. This is on the hood of the car, so the edges are pretty noticeable. Just an FYI, and of course if you have suggestions that would be great. If you could machine blend it to feather it in, it would really be a winner.
I tried something that I had that I have used before to blend touch up blobs, Langka. Even this stuff barely cuts it, this stuff must be a crosslinking chemistry. If I was to do it over, I would try hitting it with Langka earlier in the cure cycle. I think I will still have to do some sanding, followed by more buffing and maybe more Langka. I would also not smear it across the surface as they suggest. They do say to remove it with a microfiber on small scratches as a tip, but if you leave any on the surrounding surface it leaves a noticeable ridge or brush like marks from the microfiber towel. The bird stain is still invisible, but small scratches are becoming a bit more pronounced as I remove the excess. It’s still way better than it was, but I think there is a technique that could really make it better for someone capable of sanding and buffing.
11:59 @pantheorganizer will the scratch repair kit work on clear coated plastic? I have a Mazda cx9 with clear coated plastics on exterior and interior that could use some TLC. Thanks for all these videos, you’re my go-to guy for all car care products.
On any painted clear coated surface yes. But for gloss black platics, watch my tutorial here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rX14qgQcgao.html
@@PanTheOrganizer hahaha that was literally the next video that popped up on my feed after my first comment. The gloss plastics are pretty small and awkward placing on the interior so I’ll probably use a small foam pad and do it by hand…
Can't wait to see the anti-static on the Pure Shine. And, I'd love to hear more about anti-static--the dust clinging to my Ice Seal 'n Shine has been a real frustration.
Very very busy person here, just got my first nice car (Tesla 3) and just experimented with my new chemicals and gear that you helped me select. Very happy, and a lot of it is turtle wax. Waiting for warmer months to apply Adams advanced graphene and I’ll be good to go.
Very nice Video Pan 👍 I have & use many products of Turtle wax and all of them are really effective & good. But don’t know why their Chrome polish doesn’t work. Apart from that Chrome polish, most of the turtle wax products are really awesome. Easy to apply and long lasting results.
Products are great and work really well ......i use all the hybrid pro solutions line. on 2011 Silver Lexus GS 350 very impressive i just ordered the NEW detail spray for 2023 can't wait to see the results .....
Turtle wax was something my dad used when I was a kid and something I use professionally everyday in some capacity. I love where the brand is headed and can't wait to see these some of these products in my shop. Thanks Pan!
Hi Pan! I have a few questions, I've been using Soft99 Fusso for about 4 years now and have always been amazed with the hydrophobicity and the durability of the product. I always strip it off every 6-8 months for the fresh new layer to bond properly. This has served me pretty well and I recently stripped it off and applied a fresh new layer mid December of last year. Now, I've started using 303 Graphene Nano spray as a topper and I noticed the hydrophobicity weakens much quicker as compared to leaving it with no topper. Do these products not bond well together? If I don't reapply the topper I use and let it fade, will the hydrophobicity of the Soft99 come back?
Normally you don’t combine regular waxes/sealants with ceramic/graphene baded products as you can’t ensure chemical compatibility and also you would alter hydrophobics.
I hope you get this. dont know of any other way to try and get a hold of you. what are you thought on Jax Wax products? i dont know anything about them but have been starting to hear about them lately as a new detail store opened up here and is a large about of their products. thank you
Hello Paaaaann !!! J'ai hâte de voir ces produits au detailing show, mais j'espère surtout qu'ils pourront réaliser des ventes car en 2022 ce n'était pas le cas.
Hi Pan, hope you're going great. I live in Aust where summers, as you can imagine, are pretty intense with high UV levels. What is the best dash protection product. Do you cover this in one of you're clips? Thanx ever so much Michael
Measuring levels of UV protection is near impossible, so we have to rely on manufacturer claims on that. Two of the most highly used interior protectants are CarPro PERL (diluted 1:5 for interior use) and 303 Protectant.
Pan, I have been following you for 5 years. Did everything you recommended for my then new Model 3. Cotton has not touched my cars based on your advice. Ok, getting a Model Y. Let me know what sealer, wax, etc. I should be doing. Thanks
It's up to you to decide what type of protection you want: wax, sealant or coating? Watch my video explaining the differences: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4ejfPHan3k4.html And you can see how I detailed a new Tesla Model Y in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gohks8xP5NY.html
I was actually excited about the pure shine and yall bypassed it lol. I know this is a sponsored video so it may be difficult for u to answer, BUT which one is better? Wowos show stopper or this pure shine? Thank you!
I am expecting to receive the products soon, so I will be doing testing in my conditions. Wowo's Show Stopper was great at the time, but the brand isn't available in North America anymore, The Rag Company stopped carrying them. Turtle Wax claims their Pure Shine detailer adds a bit of protection, so it's different compared to Show Stopper which is just a pure gloss enhancer. Also, the TW says it has antistatic properties, which Show Stopper doesn't have. And for sure the Flairosol sprayer head on the TW is better than the regular sprayer on the Show Stopper. Time will tell, but so far there is a lot going for the TW product.
@@PanTheOrganizer i really appreciate the fast and long response! I have learned a lot from ur channel and have purchased so many products after watching you review and test them. I still get the showstopper from over overseas and a bottle cost around 30 bucks with a couple of weeks in shipping time. I LOVE the product and was curious because this TW product will be accessible here in the states. I got all the hybrid solutions lineup after u reviewed it a couple years back and still enjoy them. I also got a couple of gallons of the bead maker and also love the shine and sickness from it, BUT it attracts so much dust and dirt after about 1 or 2 days that I stopped using it. The antistatic properties sounds fantastic and maybe I can even use it as a topper for the bead maker. I understand show stopper is strictly gloss in a bottle and that is perfect for me. I'm looking forward to the review on this entire lineup! Thank u for all u do and sorry about this novel. Cheers
Still using the Turtle Wax Graphine Infused products that I would not have known about if it was not for this channel. Even after a small amount of neglect (🙄) the shine is amazing and there is absolutely no doubt in the products. This is under EXTREME Las Vegas summer sun and no garage. Thank you sir for your time, experience, expertise, knowledge, and kindness. If you ever need a "example" vehicle, I have a black Toyota Avalon that I would be willing to let you go to town on 😆 (but seriously)
I would love a brand to come out with an extremely effective but safe hard water spot remover. Being in the desert and dealing with alot of cars that come from auction, that would be an absolute game changer for me. Its difficult using an acid wash or buffing and polishing in the direct heat and sunlight of the Arizona sun.
Here's a very effective yet safe water spot remover: bit.ly/3XAEwLw We talk about it, and the rest of the company's products, in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0pyLHEoxHZY.html
Hi Pan, i am looking to remove a polymer sealant from my car so that i can apply a ceramic coating. What is the best way to go about this? It is not a very durable sealant and i would prefer if i did not have to polish the car again. Thanks
The only way is to fully wash, decon and machine polish the surface. Machine polishing the only way to ensure 100% removal of any previous protection. And it's crucial prior to applying a true coating from a glass bottle.
