Staying away from hanger boxes & fat.packs- no luck there. Hobby boxes from Topps , purchased directly from them @ $95 a box with FREE SHIPPING , is the way to go. Each box guarantees box topper, as well as either a memorabilia or autographed card. Autographs are not easy to pull in,this product although there are plenty of parallels and numbered cards to choose from. Cards numbered one through 100 are short prints in this set. Love the 1975, classic design and bright colors, lots of common players and rookies to collect as well. I like this one and it’s fun to open new products all the time.
The Detroit Tiger card is called a Topps Zoo's Who and is a sticker. They are literal interpretations of team mascots. Pack odds are 1:16, hanger box odds 1:9, fat pack odds 1:10, Walmart se pack odds 1:16. There are Walmart print runs of blue and Target print runs of red numbered to 999.
I’ve opened 5 cases so far and had to go back thru it as not everything is upside down. I had missed a total of 17 variations including a Judge Color Swap and a Flip Stock. I suggest you look thru your own stacks carefully
@@BobbyHo2022 Oh shoot, great question. A Dominguez Variation that went for $140, A Nolan Ryan/10 Coin Relic that went for $140, and a Carew Stamp Relic. There were several Elly RC types (Chrome etc) that were good, sev black chrome /75, I had a /5 Gold Votto, a Seager 3D. Its been good for me, I will pick up another case along with the 23 Platinum Chrome here in a few days.
Thank you for the review Jabs! I like the cool combo cards in the base set for this set, it makes the packs feel like they have more value despite chrome parallels and autos being tough to pull. Also, the Detroit Tiger card is a retail-exclusive 1975 Topps Zoo's Who Insert, inserted at 1:16 packs.
Quite a disappointment on the blaster Topps Heritage, 1 relic in 4 boxes? 😕 A little bit of a let down, however thanks for saving me the $26 from buying a box.
Also just so everyone’s tracking, 5 cases yielded 5 base sets, 1 per case. Used to be 5 or so base sets per case. Each case gives around 70 - 80 SPs, so you’re looking at case and half for SPs. Each case also yielded only 1 auto except one of them did yield 2, everything else was relics. Used to be 3 or 4 autos so Topps has definitely messed with the load out. I almost feel bad for all those guys that pre-sold sets thinking they were gonna get five or six base sets out of a case and realize they get one. Blue Sparkle Chrome has a print run of of 250. Last yr was 550. People better be paying attention when they sell this yr they’ll be giving stuff away lol
I'm not sure if people know or not but you can find MLB and some football cards at your local Cracker Barrel. I happened to see some behind the counter when paying for my food order.
I love the Dusty Baker card. Have you ever seen the American Dad! Episode with Dusty Baker? The Premise is that Klaus the Goldfish invented "The High-Five", however, Dusty Baker takes credit for it and chaos ensues. American Dad is a great cartoon with a lot of sports references, especially with the DC teams like Nationals, Redskins, and Hoyas.
They usually deactivate when they're scanned. You'll hear them beep. I've had them set off the alarm, but not often. I just show them my receipt. The door greeters don't get paid enough to for me to give them attitude for stuff out of their control.
I have the Topps 1975 baseball card set and the Topps 1975 mini baseball card set it's my birth year love the design plus Hank Arrons last year card!!!
The Emmanuel Valdez card that was upside down in the 1st blaster you opened is a flip stock card. The back of the card is glossy and the front is vintage stock "rough" on the front instead of the other way around for all the other cards.
That Tiger card was so cool. I believe I'm going to wait for the price to drop. I can't imagine ever paying 100$ for a box of Heritage. Also I feel like I only see one or two Cruz rookies.
I saw those Sterling openers from another channel that you mention, and it was a total farce. My disappointment with Topps right now is at an all-time high, so I’ll be avoiding their new product for the time being.
There is really no need for heritage. Topps already uses old designs on parallels in their flagship product. I have more fun ripping a box of Tribute than a case of Heritage.
