"THATS a car" really? It has the same power of a last gen E63S that came out SEVEN YEARS AGO! And on top of that it has a weight of 4200 lbs... You people really know 0 about cars...0 culture 0 and 0 knowledge.

Power and weight are only certain factors when it comes to high performance. Take a look at previous record lap times of the Nürburgring in the previous AMG GT R Pro and then the E63 S. AMG GT R Pro = 7:04.63 E63 S = 7:55.00 Where an engine is mounted, aerodynamics, downforce on the spoiler, weight as you mentioned (there’s about a 100kg weight difference between the two). This new one has improvements all round so will be interesting to see what gains it might have!

@@npoleary Who cares about track times? Very few people track their cars...im talking about a new GT using the powertraing of a 7 years old sedan and asking more tham 200k for it... Are you really that shallow?

I think night black magno. As far as I know, the graphite gray magno did not pass the quality tests on the GT coupe… (info from the dealer).

Well it depends on the model and year of car which one did you buy? I’ve not heard of someone adding a voice assistant to a car before though…

@npoleary I think i couldn't explain myself correctly. I have a B-Class AMG 2019 with new model design. And now i want to add some more driving assists like steering wheel assist, active distance assist or blind spot assist... But I dont know if it is still possible for me to add them to my car by going to a mercedes dealar. I am living in Europe, just so you know. ?

Oh I see! Sorry! I don’t believe you can, car dealers very rarely will fit aftermarket tech to cars as most of the time they’re only allowed to sell cars as per their original specifications. Adding something like the driving assistance package would cost thousands and thousands of pounds though if it were possible. You’ll have to ask Mercedes staff at a dealer, sorry I wouldn’t know for sure.

I didn’t hear anything to suggest that there’s a smaller engine version for the UK. Although I have heard rumours there is a 43 variant for some countries with I guess at 3.0L. The current AMG GT in the UK is a 4.0L - 585hp

Most car manufacturers make cars for a wide consumer reach. So for example in Mercedes, they’ll be an A-Class (like my current daily car, that’s all I can stretch to 😅) to luxurious saloons, convertibles, estates, small SUV’s, larger more practical SUVs and a combo of faster ones with AMG engines. When it comes to high end stuff like this, a lot of the design and engineering would I’d imagine come from their motorsport division. They already have fast race cars and tech implemented in Formula One so adapting it and testing it onto a road legal car is probably something they do on high end stuff like this. The money and most importantly the expertise probably doesn’t come from the same place 👍🏼 (That’s my thoughts anyway) and if they had done that I wouldn’t have a dream car to look up to! 😊

@@npoleary, fair point Nick, over the years I’ve spent an arm and a leg on several Mercedes, 4 S classes, 3 E class cabs for the wife, and I’ve lost count of the number of E classes. Currently got a 70 plate, purchased from Sandown Poole, 300 hundred miles away from me, bu5 it was specked up with the driving assistance package. I hope I’ve reached the age where my head rules my heart.
