Mitsubishi Motors Europe has unveiled the new 2025 Outlander PHEV, a D-SUV specifically designed for the European market, marking the next phase of the brand’s product expansion. The fourth generation of this flagship model introduces advanced plug-in hybrid technology, wrapped in a refined and dynamic design.
The completely revamped PHEV powertrain extends the electric driving range, delivers instant acceleration, and enhances cabin quietness for a more refined driving experience. Built on the "I-Fu-Do-Do" concept, meaning "authentic and majestic" in Japanese, the new Outlander PHEV combines high levels of safety, comfort, and quality to meet European standards.
the new Outlander PHEV radiates strength and adventure. At the front, Mitsubishi’s iconic Dynamic Shield gives the SUV a bold, aggressive face. High-tech adaptive LED headlights light the way forward, paired with sleek, sequential indicators for a sharp modern look.
From the side, you notice the muscular fender flares and the distinct Jet Tail Fin rear pillar, which adds a floating effect to the roofline. And those alloy wheels? You can opt for either 18 or 20 inches, adding even more style and stability.
At the rear, the hexagon motif echoes Mitsubishi’s SUV heritage, inspired by the classic Pajero. The T-shaped LED tail lights highlight the width and strength of the vehicle, enhancing its confident stance on the road.
The Outlander PHEV front seats come with heating, ventilation, and even a massage function, wrapped in premium materials with high-quality stitching. In the rear, passengers get to enjoy heated seats and an extended backrest for extra comfort.
For entertainment, Mitsubishi collaborated with Yamaha to deliver a premium sound system, with either 8 or 12 speakers that turn the cabin into a private concert hall. And with Mitsubishi’s latest infotainment system, the 12.3-inch digital cluster and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensure that you stay connected at all times.
Under the hood, the New 2025 Outlander PHEV comes with a redefined plug-in hybrid system. It pairs a 2.4L petrol engine with two powerful electric motors. The front motor delivers 85 kW and 255 Nm of torque, while the rear motor offers 100 kW and 195 Nm of torque, giving you the power to tackle any road with confidence.
With a larger 22.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, the new 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV can drive up to 86 km on pure electric power alone, ensuring efficiency and eco-friendliness. Plus, the PHEV system offers seamless acceleration and a refined, quiet drive. The new S-AWC (Super All-Wheel Control) system distributes torque to give you maximum stability and control in any driving condition.
