Super awesome mold! Love the color combos too! I have always wondered what a floating plastic would look like on these. Would it allow all the danglies to float up after it hits bottom and maybe open them up more?
Don't own a boat here, but grew up throwing plastics and jigs for bass. Alot of plastic worms and jerkbaits and jigs. Every lure has its place. A fish is a fish, only has to fool them once for a bite. Thanks for the content, and are you still doing the giveaway for the 100,000 subs?
I just received the two crappie tube molds yesterday & told my buddy that i hope Josh started doing his full size tubes like this. . Now i'll be selling the 4"double dipper i have to buy this one.
I have noticed on the lureworks colorant bottles the directions say to add the color to cold plastic, not sure if it makes a difference but I’m kinda curious to try it this summer
Great Mold and great price. The old Caney creek/do-it mold was good but was expensive and making one at a time was painful. Only prob I MIGHT see with the AI is I use 4/0 Stupid Tube hooks in my 4" tubes and the front of these look a little short maybe. Will a 4/0 hook work?
Mold release spray works the best for tube rods/splines (such as Stoner), but it's pricey. Another option that also works very well and is WAY cheaper and available at pretty much any hardware store is PB Blaster Silicone Lubricant in the spray bottle. Both infinitely easier to work with than worm oil
Hey, I’ve been wanting to start making my own lures since I first found your channel a couple years ago, I’ve finally decided to just start making them but I’m kinda on a budget as I’m only 15, but have you ever seen the do it essential series starter kit, and if so would you recommend it?
when i am using the triple injector do i shoot it fast i heated up the blending block because i watched your first video again about triple in injector i tried making black and white and black triple color and i was getting swirls do think the black is to dominant to make a triple inject with those colors our should of i lighten up the black so it will work less drops
The 2.75 would be a great replacement for the old bass pro tender tubes i use to use. Hopefully Josh does all of his tube molds like this. Would be great.
Vegetable oil in a spray can works best for me. I shoot a spot on then Dab toothbrush in Vegetable oil and brush thin coat on mold. Works great for stone molds also.
Nice 🔥🔥. What about a longer tube? I still have a pack of tubes from about 30 years ago they have a 4”body with a 1.1-2 “ tail. Haven’t seen something like that in for ever🤙🤙
I seen this right after I bought and received my 4-in tube mold from them they probably should have gave people a heads up that were buying at the same week they were releasing it should have said hey maybe you want to hold off on buying that one
I use bait plastics saltwater hard for the 190 for the tails & medium for the bodies when reinstalling into the 250 on the crappie tubes. The hard makes demolding extremely easy & you can do it sooner. . I'd think the same method would work great on the big tube too.
Good luck tomorrow and Saturday brother but my favorite color is smoky shad sale a lot of that color were y'all fishing the tournaments at keep me posted on those molds when you get ready to sale
Been waiting for this one. Thank you for the tutorial. Great job! I've had the same problem with the chameleon as well. But now thanks to you I know how to fix it. Thanks again Chris.
