Thank you for this nice presentation, Rob! 👍 I think it is a about time that some developers comes up with something like good old Andras Field for FSX and this could be a start.
@@Dreamsofwings Warning it is a very difficult landing, but if too difficult you can fly to Aboyne Gliding club a mile or two down the river Dee and drive back for tea...
Does it allow you to save where in the world you are camping out when you log out? I wanna fly cross country doing jobs along the way and this would be a nice way to save my progress.
I got so excited by your review that I looked to get the bush camp out right away. It is not available for the Xbox series S at the moment, and I could not find it on the marketplace for the PC group. It looks very creative and might be alotta fun to play with !! I’m going to Jonathan Creek, where they have tents already and Mexican Mt where I can grab a beer!! (After flying !) I think I’ll set up one at Lukla!!!! Lol Ps. I would like to use 4 campfires to designate the runway at night. Hopefully hopefully there is not a limit to how many you can set …… have to be reasonable! Nice work!!
@@roberthemingway7691 many thanks! It is available for sale for PC on Orbx at the moment but is coming to PC. Yes as long as you have the Eco points available you could use campfires like thst.
I feel like a second-class citizen because it is not going to be available for the Xbox for quite a while. It’s not like it’s a highly detailed plane that encompasses a lot of data, it’s a pick and place format that really should not demand a lot of system Resources. But yet again the pilots on the Xbox Are sadly lacking the things that we can buy an ad.
@@roberthemingway7691 Apparently it’s ready to go on the //42 side, the delay is waiting for Asobo to fix something on the Xbox version that will allow it to work. I hope it’s not too long!
I bought this, and it's sorta cool, but I don't see how to logout, go away and come back and respawn at the campsite somehow? edit: Looking closer at the features I don't think it has this option? I'm not sure what the point is of creating campsites that I will never be able to find again though. I thought I could log out and then start some other day in the same spot easily...
Ok so you have a few options. The easiest is to save the flight while you are at your camp. That way you can start again from the same position. However if you want to fly back to it at a future time you could either remember the location and navigate to it using recognisable ground features as you would prob do IRL, or use Little Navmap (free download) to save your campsite location as a ‘userpoint’ and then as a moving map to get back to your camp.
Yes, you are just limited to keep within your Eco Points allowance..........also if you are flying online with friends they can share their code with you from their copy of the app and then you will see theirs too.
