Hey bro! Much love the scape looks great! But I’d definitely add almond leaves! I did it and I’ll never have a tank another way! I ordered wild caught altum angelfish and have them in with my Bolivian rams and my cw corydoras! It is the best look for a angelfish tank buddy! You won’t regret it
I absolutely like your realistic aqua scape! Think the fish will like and appreciate the open area, and it looks very natural. I would not overdue it by adding things in the open area, if it were my setup. You can always add later if you still feel something is missing. Your set up is one I would try to emulate if I were setting up a tank. A nice work of art! Leave the open space and see how the fish react. Great job!
A serious level up. I've often dropped Rocks and wood pieces into a tub to see how they land naturally. The process gives you options the Human mind wouldn't conceive of. Much more Natural. Adding Tank water will also speed up the cycle as well filter media. The Albino tank would look wicked with the Albino Congo Tetras. Great episode.
Do you have to treat freshwater tanks with certain conditioners before adding fish? Or if the test strips show the water is fine then you’re good to go.
Nice Aquascape big thumbs up big w ..can't wait to see the good bad & ugly update on the pond. Hope it's not leaking or any deaths either way happy fish keeping
Absolute W! Love that you are working with aquascaping more… but be careful, it is addicting once you start lol. I will have to send you some pics from my recent tanks😀
That scape jus made me wanna go outside and soak sum lol its winter round here and i seen a bunch of nice branches. My betta looking like he getting the upgrade 🤌🏾 the power of having a 20 gallon jus laying around 😂 love from Buffalo 🔵🔴⚪️ inspiration goes a long way brotha
Looks great man. I wouldn’t add any tannins bc the scape is nice. That back corner looks good empty. Some red plants would look good in there too ludwigia super red.
I just recently did a water change and redid my setup as well. I need to keep up with y'all lol 🐠🐠🐳 huge W for the new set up. Great job aquarium looking fresh !!
Love it ! So you’re telling me I can use any tree branches for aquariums ? It doesn’t HAVE to be DRIFTWOOD ? I always wanted to go to a tree and get some wood but wasn’t sure if it was possible..
Love the new aqua scape. I think maybe it would look better with broader leaf plants in the back of the driftwood but of course that’s only my opinion. I don’t do live plant so I’m not that familiar with how the ones that are there now will look so guess I’ll just have to stay tuned.
@@BossAquatics no worrys! Your tank looks really amazing btw I never thought to just go outside and get my own hardscape. I just spent 100 dollars om drift wood lmao but nonetheless good to know!
You probably got oak trees, maples and some other trees locally. Its fall brother go outside and get ya some. Look it up. I am in Tennessee and i got me a bag full. I just started using leaves in my geo tank
Definitely leave it open on that left side and f*** the Almond leaves forget those in my opinion, and I hope you have good luck with the Twigs from your yard I've did that before and ran into a lot of fungus popping through so good luck with the twigs and what kind of filtration are you going to put on there?
You can have clear water with a Blackwater setup... Try the almond leaves, and if you don't like it you can use SeaChem Purigen to remove it. Other than that, I suggest using some floating plant that grows long roots to give it a low-light effect. Trust me, you'll LOVE it.
@@BossAquatics That's what's up... Just remember to add in your almond leaves slowly over time. You wouldn't want your pH to crash, causing oxygen levels inside the tank to drop rapidly. Besides that, I want to say that I like how you represent the hobby. Keep doing your thing, my G.
@@BossAquatics please educate yourself then , plenty of aquascaping channels to chose from. If i may sugest one video that will hopefully let you see the light : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mi-NIGyIDOQ.html
