Hi Alex great video and very informative! I'm looking at getting on the ladder in the new year and wondering if there is any way to do a buy to let without having to put down 25% deposit? I've been saving for what feels like ages and still not at the average 25% deposit range, any advice would be greatly appreciated

What would be the tips for finding the right broker? Would you recommend to contact a few, get a few agreements in principle to find out who can offer the best deal? Thank you

I’m After a scheme that allows more lending. I have 50k deposit and looking at 400k Homes. I can afford it. But I doubt anyone will Lend without a certain scheme
Great videos, but some of the links in the description don't work, you might want to check them out. Also what kind of mortgage would you recommend to a very thrifty person, and is there limit to the amount lenders give you? For example let's say I'm on minimum wage and can comfortably pay off half of my wage as mortgage. Will the lender accept my terms or will they only allow me to pay off a lower amount? Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Hi there thanks for watching and pointing out the links. These have been updated now. I'm not sure what you meant about being a thrifty person and paying off half of your wage. If you could expand a bit more that would be great!
@@alexkerrmortgage I don’t own a property but I am not a first time buyer either. Would you helping the cases like me or first time buyers only? Thanks
Hi Alex, I've just started watching some of your videos as I'm the market looking to buy a home in UK. A basic question i have is: a first time buyer means a first time buyer in UK or a first time buyer anywhere in the world?
Is the first home scheme worth looking at if I met the criteria as a solo first time buyer with %10 deposit and mortgage in principle and how does it work, if and when I do decide to sell at a later date ty.
@@alexkerrmortgage Thank you. Unfortunately I have had to reconsider this option, just because the availability is pretty nonexistent in Manchester after speaking to many builders. I have got a bid on a house, it sounds very promising as the owner showed me around, instead of the agents, so I just asked him what he realistically wanted and he gave me a very fair price under his own EA valuation and inline with houses in the area. So I am just waiting on my mortgage lenders own surveyor to get back to me, but still looking and have a second lined up if this doesn't go through 🤞
So, they make it so complicated, personally it makes me give up and resort to carry on renting 🤣 also it seems the deposit is so high your need a lottery win to attempt this. Sigh. Serious question: Would banks lend you the deposit for a mortgage?
There is one or two options, but everything needs to fit with affordability. Feel free to book a free chat with us. If you want to discuss further, we will make the process a lot simpler for you! www.mortgagechain.co.uk/
@@alexkerrmortgage wow thank you, I didn't know you did this. I'm not looking at making a move just yet, but I'll be sure to arrange a chat when I see the time is right 👍👍
