Amazing, if it’s almost all off road that’s an incredible feat. It’s now on my wish list. Just have to work out how to get to Scotland with my bike, and if we came in a car, how to get back to the beginning. Do any trains let you take your bike onboard in Scotland?

What a poorly presented story. And they couldn't even get the distances correct. We use miles in the UK NOT kilometres!

i know. tell about it. I've noticed that more and more are using km instead of miles. i struggle with km when I've used miles all of my life.

I believe you can wild camp in Scotland just not near other properties and don’t leave a mess. Basic common sense.

Describing the route as a "safe alternative" for people new to cycling ignores the fact that sections of the route are quite technical and probably not suitable for novice cyclists.
