Back at the greatest place on earth to carve some roads in the best machines ever made. Mixture of some raw driving footage, some banter, and thoughts on the new RS. Should I keep the touring? LZMFG.com
The „clicking“ sound while shifting in the GT3 RS that Colette refered to as if it was off a simulator actually is pretty accurate. They put magnets in the paddles so it is harder to pull them just like they do in the simulator and thats why it clicks when they return to normal position. So its not a cheap noise, even in the sim, its just the noise when the magnets get back together.
Watching Adam drive on these gorgeous back roads makes me really want to see a collab of Adam and Mischa Charoudin on the Nordschleife. Would be so cool.
I went to Circuit of the Americas F1 GP this year. The highlight of the weekend for me was walking to the parking lot the first day I went, and hearing the 911 Carrera Cup race walking up to the race track. I had goosebumps the entire time I was walking to the track, hearing these cars screaming in a pack of 20+ 911’s is one of the most unforgettable sounds I’ve ever heard.
Ah yes, some Porsche sound, music to my ears. Having driven the 992 GT3 RS on track, this thing is a weapon! When it's your first Porsche experience, first time driving a PDK (only ever driven manual) it was wild! Bonus point, it was yellow , my fav color. 😍
Yeah that was lame as hell. That’s like 2nd or 3rd time I’ve seen him attack other more talented RU-vidrs who have done nothing but praise him. Adam would benefit chilling out. Admire the guy but def lame.
Yeah I hope he didn't mean it that way... But I was kind of taken aback cause Mat was very respectful throughout his series and he only made that video to show how far the car had come. Mat seems like a very genuine and hard working individual, and I was glad I found him through that rebuild
@@roadwarrior8213 yep and this point matt is 3-5x the size of youtuber adamlz with out getting into view counts. Matt is extremely talented. Does all his own work and can whip a car too. Idk how matt could have done it any more legit or respectful. Shame adam choosing to act like that.
Its good to see Adam happy, Collete compliments him so well. Shes beautiful funny independent n share so much of the same goals n hobbies n interests. Its rare to find a match like that n u can tell he is wayyy happier than he was with.. yea doesnt need to be said. But im happy for them. Collete is the best addition to Adam's life imo
That made me tear up hearing that matt put that wash station there. I would full on ball my eyes out seeing him drive this with yall next year. He will get there eventually. Prayers up for the homie at obsessed garage
I was fishing on the Nantahala river Sunday morning. I could hear these guys ripping up the river road. They all drove by and I couldn't have been more jealous. So cool to see two completely different cultures enjoying the same environment for completely different reasons.
Born & raised in western NC, it’s awesome seeing you drive some of the little hidden gem roads that this area has to offer, even if it’s only a fraction of what’s available 😉
Really proud to see you guys in a GT again hell of a car most definitely a beauty of a car with those new fenders Collete did great when u guys swapped cars 🙏🏽🫶🏽
Bumper angles on these trips are one of my favorites from any of your videos. It looks like a video game it’s so perfect @Porsche you this man some sponsorship/advert money he just made the best possible ad for your cars
The fact that every car enthusiast is cruising on that last road is so cool. I'd love to go there myself and enjoy not only my car but all the others as well 👌
On my trip to the dragon and surrounding areas last year that was my favorite part as well. You are getting gas just watching and listening to all the cars ripping by and checking out others in the parking lot. A very rare experience where all of the "traffic" you see is not mundane grocery getters.
I may be an outlier...these GT3 videos are my favorite. I get to see alot of drifting and do it occasionally in my own car but i don't get to rip porsche's in the mountains ever! JEALOUS 😂
What a drive, Those roads are perfect, not a pot hole in sight, sweeping turns in a scenic backdrop, The closest road near me is ZigZag hill here in the UK. Keep posting those GT3 T vids
Man nothing beats the looks of the new 992 Gt3rs, having seen one in person. They look insane and sound insane even for stock. Obviously if I had one I would like to hear it scream more but still for a street car from factory, it is nuts
2:50 no wayyyyy im positive I saw you on Wayah rd a few days ago that was freaking sick… I recall telling my buddy when I saw y’all drive by “that’ll be us one day boys”… but I had no clue that that was y’all!!! That just made my heart happy 🤣🤣🤣
Those mountains are really fun. Finally got a chance to go their for Slammedenuff Gatlinburg. Even in my Civic Si those winding roads are a blast with or without power!
Blood mountain is one of the best roads to have fun on there is tons of room and visibility especially in the winter time, I'd love to see more clips of it
I was out there in my Vette and saw all you guys multiple times. I think we stayed across the street from you as well. You passed my group on the Skyway black c6 grand sport and 2 Chevy SS white and Blue. Porsche sounded nuts going bye.
It’s was Classic Hondas on the Dragon this weekend and the car they where featuring was the CRX, hints why you were seeing all the Hondas! Great video Adam!
For the record, GT3 guys don't look at the ECU to determine if the car has hit the rev limiter, they look to see if it was over revved in a downshift that was done prematurely. This is called the DME report. A normal bounce of the rev limiter on an upshift hits Zone 1/2 on the DME report, and anything in zone 1-3 is acceptable and doesn't impact the car's value. In fact, Porsche will still certify Gt3's that have revs in zones 1-3. If they're in zone 4-6 however, that's a significant over rev (>9750-10k rpm) and that can damage the engine and reduce value significantly. Glad to see Adam isn't scared to hit 9k rpm, that's what these beasts are all about! Let her rip!
So crazy! Pretty sure me and my buddy drove past you guys in our S2000’s, we were there for the Honda event all the way from Arizona. Wish I could have gotten to stop and chat 😢
