Our extremely popular A-Zoom Snap Caps are the best choice for safety training, function testing and dry firing practice. Their rugged design has proven to withstand thousands of dry fires while still protecting the firing pin. One drawback with dry firing snap caps however is when they are used in striker fire type pis- tols. These firearms require that the slide be drawn back to cock the pistol, which then extracts and ejects the snap cap from the pistol. Our new StrikerCaps solve this problem. StrikerCaps are made without a rim and are equipped with a centering o-ring which grips the chamber walls and keeps the snap cap in place in the chamber. Once it is chambered, simply rack the slide to cock the pistol. StrikerCaps will absorb the firing pin hit just like standard A-Zooms, however will stay in place for quicker, easier dry fire practice. StrikerCaps will be available for 380 Auto, 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP.

I knew they would make these eventually, I’d been grinding the rim off the regular ones for the same effect.

Be sure to clean your guns before using real ammunition after using these or any snap caps. They all leave residue and tiny pieces of a scrap brass in your firearms. The 3d printed ones are junk, A zoom dont last long and leave even more scrap brass,Tipton seems to last a bit longer but still has the same effect.Have yet to find a good quality snap caps dont believe one exist.

So I assume afterwards you'll need your cleaning rod to remove them if they can never be ejected 🤔🤔. Plus an minus to this idea...

You say that like it's such a hassle to poke out one round. I'd much rather do that than have to keep reloading dummy rounds all day. Haven't tried them yet so, we shall see.

A good idea, but way overpriced for just two. You can practice dry firing without ejecting the regular snap caps by simply pulling the slide back about an inch or less. This resets the striker & trigger, but doesn't eject the cap. I've been doing this for years with regular A-zoom snap caps.

True... but you're building a bad habit that could end up backfiring in a real live scenario.

Seems like a waste of money.

If you want a legit tip, don't overpay for these. People 3D print no-frills versions and sell them on eBay for way less. Bought a 9 pack of .45 snap caps for $8.00.
