The palette comparisons show exactly why this palette was made for darker tones! The other palettes don’t show up as well on black women because they’re either too light or the undertone is too neutral. The deeper and warmer undertones show up better on our skin, they actually look better on the lighter skin ppl too tho, ironically enough

Actually, being a pale person, I can tell you that those colors would look like a black eye on lighter skin tones. It can be incredibly hard to find a nice gradient of colors to use in eyeshadows that don't make me look like a panda

@9:26 Some of the shadows are similar to tones in the Modern Renaissance pallet but they are not the same. They have different undertones. Thank you for posting this video. ❤️ Buying It!

Hey Angela, wow you really killed it! I love the look you created. Some of the pairings I probably wouldn't have even thought of, but damn it works so well. When I saw Jackie's review, I was already thinking I'd buy it, but it's great seeing how the colors look on a lighter skin tone. I'm happy for Jackie. I understand she can be polarising for some people, but I'm here for the makeup, not the drama. Love you. Can't wait to see you slay some more looks with this palette. xx
