I love those cars. They are so wide in person. This old lady that comes into my wife's store has that exact one she let me drive and I loved it. She also has a orange C7 Zr1 and a C8 Zo6. She is literally like 70 years old and owns a collision shop. Lol She is a badass. She literally raced me in my 240 the one day in her zr1. Lol
@@ChiPpification Hell no…..If I was given full access to her fleet though it would at least be a conversation. Lol She has seen me drive my cars so I don’t think there’s a chance in hell she would throw me the keys to one of hers.
I have a friend who owns one and I really like the car , but for the price is has some glaring misses, most notably the civic level U.I., no seat ventilation and the lack of trunk space even for a short road trip as it doesn't offer a frunk. Everything else about the car is a 10.
I have an NA1 and drove a 2017 NC1 and loved it. I don’t like the front bumper much on the first couple years, though. 2022 Type S would be my car of choice but I would be very happy with a 2020.
If it were priced near Corvette prices, it may have sold in larger numbers. They priced it out of reach for the people that would drop 70-100 thou on an Acura sports car.
i think what ultimately killed the new NSX is when there were tests against the R35 GTR, it was pretty much even. thats unacceptable for a car thats like twice the price and newer.
Due time I plan on getting one because of my choice not because of a few individuals. I believe down the road some may go after it. I personally plan on modding because I can will be able to afford either by my own hands or outsourced. Dope car none the less
More horsepower means more unusable on the every day roads. The people who buy this, appreciate it because they can actually enjoy it in every day use!
Not necessarily no, because people who look to buy these, generally look to the past to compare. What would’ve made it sell more would’ve been if they had added a manual option, like the original! The V6 isn’t the issue, the original had an inline 3.5L V6 as well!
I believe the MSRP has been drastically reduced from when they 1st came out. Also, as I recall, special device / tool required to do simple oil change that the dealer has to invest in. I am totally happy with my purchase of C8 HTC @ 85K.
no, there is no special tools for an oil change, you can see it for yourself on youtube, there are a few videos showing how to do oil change on the nsx, just a lot of bolts you gotta take out like any other exotics
7:34 You said Sport+ was the most aggressive setting, but actually it's Track mode, which you even mentioned at 3:40 that you have to hold to activate heh
@gcmfskg The Z06 is quite the bang for the buck for its performance. However when it comes to reliability, Honda/acura are known to be one of the best. GTRs have their fair share of issues, porsche, audi, benz, chevy arent really known to be that reliable for their sport cars. I rather have an nsx that wont worry me for unexpected costs for engine or transmission failure.
@@ifeawosika966 it's called warranty. I certainly wouldn't turn down a NSX but more bang for the buck is a NA V8 flat plane crank,mid engine American brand. We will see what's worth more in 5yrs from now.

Affordable? Man. This would outrun a C8 in a straight away. Secondly, this would outlast a C8 in the long-run. Thirdly, this would probably still be cheaper to maintain than the C8 in 5 years time!

Ugly interior, gimmicky features, Rube Goldberg powertrain: Honda tarnished the NSX brand with this. BTW, the best everyday super car is the 911 Turbo S and no other car comes close.
missed opportunity! Should have made a EV that could accelerate like crazy. instead made a car that can tour all days at moderate speed. No rich people want a moderately fast car. they want a bragging right to say they have a car that can beat anyone in the quarter mile. if they have to travel long distance they would rather fly.
They made the big mistake to hire a female designer for this second gen NSX. The overall proportion doesn’t look super car enough. The front end looks way too complicated. The back looks prototype. And not enough power.
I love Honda and I like Acura. But the design is a fail because they hired a female designer male like primarily design for men not women. Wrong proportion. Ugly front bumper. Wrong headlight length. Short trunk, so many wrong and amateur level design elements. They should have hired a male head designer
