👋, just got 4d ultraboost half a size up and it’s still narrow for my wide feet. I was wondering if this uncaged (and 4d run, dna ) are similar in terms of being narrow or are they a little more wider? Thank you!

It's estés as being the most comfortable shoe and the first popular running shoe with a full length boost, Ultraboost has been out since 2015 so it's loved by many wearers, me included.

I enjoy the aesthetic of the cage on Ultra Boosts. I feel that people like cageless because of the similarities they have with a Yeezy V2. The difference of them having a cage make the Ultra Boosts better. IMO.

I have and many others do. I don't recommend it though. They suck as running shoes. They feel like bricks are strapped to your feet because the uppers are so light and the outdated boost midsole is super heavy. There are much better shoes for running that cost much less. They just might not look nearly as good.

@@xfiringsquadx honestly Idk why everyone hates them for running, yesterday I ran with 3 friends, one was wearing the chinese new year 1.0, I wore the triple white 20 and the 3rd guy wore triple white 4.0, other dude was wearing a brooks shoe I think, and the dude with 4.0 has over 1500 miles in them

@@legocommanderwolffe8383 Over 1500 miles? I've never heard a runner get over 700 miles on any shoes ever. I replace my running shoes between 350-500 miles mostly. And not because the treads wear but because modern shoes don't work the same after that point. I now run in Altras though for the zero drop because I have a midfoot strike. Nike and adidas have a huge drop which I don't like. Feels like I'm wearing high heels when I run. All the cushion is in the heel which is great if you're a heel striker, but if you're someone with good running form, all it is is extra weight. That part of the shoe doesn't even touch the ground when I run. Altras have the same stack height in the heel as the forefoot so I get the same amount of cushion across my whole step. If you're a young person, not a big deal, strike with your heel and be happy running in your ultra boosts. But if you have bad joints, knees or are a bit older like me (36), you'll find that you need good form and ultra boosts go against good form. Not to mention almost double the weight of other good running shoes. What are they like 12oz now? That's ridiculously heavy. Edit: They are 12.5 oz. Compare that to say the Hoka Rincon which has more cushion than an ultra boost but is 7.7 oz. Boost is way too outdated and heavy.

@@legocommanderwolffe8383 Shit at 18 I am absolutely sure I'd be running in ultra boosts without any complaints too. I was much more style oriented at that age and ultra boosts do take the cake for the best looking running shoe I think. They aren't bad at all, they just no longer fit my needs with my age and with my conditions. If you keep running as a you get older and start to have pains, just remember what I said and try a few other brands out. You might be pleasantly surprised. They won't look as good as boosts for sure though. Lol.

I honestly am about to toss the ultra boost shoes I have I believe it’s the 3.0 I wore them everywhere to multiple countries but yeah after about 1.5 years.. RIP that boost sole just bottomed the fuck out. It’s true I’ve never had shoes that were as comfy as the boost but how they deteriorated was ridiculous felt worse than a pair of vans and vans can last me years bro. I can’t stand to look at another pair of these again especially when the trend is already dead on boosts lol but nice video

Boost technology is heavy and outdated as hell. These hypebeasts won't let them die though. Adidas needs to come out with something new but as long as people keep buying these shitty shoes they won't. In boosts defense though, you gotta rotate them with other shoes so the boost has a chance to decompress. Many high cushion shoes are like that.
