I got scammed once the same way but for the same pet. I ended up getting a younger one, it wasn't that bad. Although scamming shouldn't exist and it's really toxic, I bet scammers don't know how it feels to loose something you love because you got tricked
Scammers shouldn't exist Because they are five year olds who think they can scam to get what they want It's not fair and it's stupid It's not fair to the person who worked so hard for their pet or dream pet It's just so wrong
that happened to me once 😭😭 i was so excited to make a neon persian cat and got so confused when it said the pet needed to be full grown. it was newborn 😢
THIS HAPPENED TO ME: i had 4 skele-rexes at the moment. I wanted to make a neon later on. I was in a rich server and there was a guy saying trading four full grown phoenixes. Phoenixes were valuable, and I was willing to make a neon at that time. Once the trade ended, i rushed to the neon cave just to find out that they were newborn. How to prevent this: if you hold on the pet, it shows the details during the trade. Check for grammar mistakes or see if there is a scroll for another age (which is the real one), (like she showed)
I don’t care if you hate me, but I’m going to speak my honest opinion. I kinda (kinda means a little) feel bad for the scammers that are kids. When my sister was younger she used to scam people, it was cause she didn’t know that it was wrong and hurting others. All she saw was “woah a way to get free pets in adopt me?! I want a free pet!” And when I explained to her what really was happening she was heartbroken that she did that to others and she even tried to get her account banned as a punishment. I stoped her because she didn’t deserve it, she didn’t know so she got a pass. But the people that know what they are doing? I feel nothing towards them but pure anger. Because they know they are hurting others. Those who didn’t know like my sister, I kinda feel bad for them and feel like someone should let them know what they are doing,the effects, and it isn’t just some way to get a free pet. Edit: for those of you wondering why I put the definition of kindness, it’s because some of you guys will get mad and start a war in the comments thinking I support scammers.
A famous RU-vidr just scammed me. She told me to give her all my best pets for 300 robux and I agreed. She then showed in her live stream that she could not donate me so I told her to wait while I make a new game pass.. When I came back after making it, guess what..she blocked me and totally ignored me on her live stream. I was her biggest fan and still have her merches. Feel like I wanna throw those merches away into a trashcan. I'm quitting adopt me starting from now.
Guys!! Story: So just recently this guy was saying "abc if you have a sibling, if you do i have a gift for you !!" i said abc, and got my brother to join me, he had a shadow, frost, and neon owl. That was the gift. The guy said go in a different room and was asking very weird questions like "your in the same house right" "prove your siblings" or "go in a different room ik if you are". We didn't move to different rooms, and stayed by each other, the guy said "okay give your brother your best pets" and I did. the guy said okay give it back to her, he traded me and said wait wait decline, and said "now go" he somehow got it to say I was trading my brother, it said "0BV1PAIS sent you a trade request" when I really didn't. So, I told my brother to decline, cause it wasn't me. The scammer tried to make it seem like I'm the sister, and somehow go the trade to say I sent him a trade request. I'm so glad I didn't do it because I would have lost my neon parrot. Stay safe guys!!
Forget the friendship level and stuff- I’m pretty sure that was a lose even if the zodiac was like lower age, butterflies atleast have better demand and value.
I feel very sorry for you :( A friend from my friendlist happend the same, she were trading a FR Croc for a Full Grown bc she was doing Neon and already have a FR one and it doesn't make sense when 2 Crocs are FR, so she trades her FR one for a looking Full Grown Croc in trade, she had to add her Turkey, rhino and chicken, she were so happy to make finally neon and ask me to join to see how she makes it neon. I joined her and i were so happy that she can make a neon one, but then we're she was about to put the last one she told me it has to be full grown and she was confused. I asked her to put it out to check if it was really full grown and she just saw it was newborn. After that she quit adopt me because she was so p!ssed off and told me that she felt like scammers were everywhere. I was really sad cause I met her in adopt me and we was so good friends, but she is right in adopt me are so much scammers.
This scam happened to me before a year with my neighbour but it ended up coming to her house and threatened it by giving my pets back and she gave back😂
I got scammed for my mega unicorn and neon cow and I worked so hard to get those. It took me 1 year. I wish we could just show scammers how it feels to be scammed and lose something you worked hard for.
This happened to me recently, what had happened was i had four gargoyles (well-aged) and traded them for four “full grown” which weren’t, squids. They were all newborn and I was very upset. So please if you see a huge space below the name, know that it’s a scam.
I got scammed, there were 4 persian cats and they were newborn. But the weird thing was that they disappeared after a few days. Maybe the pet was hacked.

This almost happened to me when the badger update came out, instantly some guy was trading 4 full grown badgers, I offered about a few legendaries. He did accept but then I realized it was fake.
I once got scammed someone traded me so I accepted and the one that traded me said "do you have a pink cat?" and I said "yes my friend gave me it I just colored it that's bc it is pink" and the trader said "can you pls give me it I only have a dog" and I said "umm..... Alr...." and instead gave her my orangutan bc it is rare I think and knew she would love it and she was offering the trader was offering her dog bc she has another dog and she declined. And I said "why did you decline?" and the trader said "I will give you the dog if you do what I tell you to do😏" and I thought *what could go wrong? * and the trader told me to go to the salon and then told me to wash my pet and then said "SCAMMER AND GET SCAMED HAHA" and the trader had an UNICORN and said "i only have a dog" and rode it away and her avatar was a poor avatar. And then i traded someone and the one I traded gave me a white cat which isn't colored it is just how it looks and I was impressed and gone to the one that scammed me and I said "hey loser" and forgot to tell the one that scammed me had an opinion and that is when she sees a common pet and she has a rare one and then will start saying "wow that pet is so 💎raaare💎 can you traaaade me it💅" and it is so confusing. So the scammer said "ugh what scaammer😒" and I equipped that cat and she was like "😳" and said "gimme gimme gimme it now!!! 💅🤩" and i said "alr😏" and this time the scammer gave me her unicorn and I declined and the scammer said "waaaah gimme the cat😢😢😢" and I just ran away and said "😂😂😂" and the scammer kept following me all the time so I reported her and roblox banned her😂😂😂. did you ever get scammed?
luckily adopt me added the friendship level that blocks scamming also when your trading with your friend,you see the smile next to their user if you wonder why it's because they are verified as your friend because there's a scam that they pretend to be your friend/sibling and ask you to wait 5 mins trust trade with your friend/sibling it's because they are making an acc exactly like your friend/sibling and also exact username with one difference so that they can make you think you are trading with your friend/sibling I'm glad adopt me patched these scams they r very bad scams
Haha, someone tried to do this to me. Story time ! So i was logging on to adopt me, doing my tasks for my pet, blah blah blah. Then I went to teleport to gifts and a girl said “Trading 4 full grown dogs!” I traded her and I said “If they are full grown why don’t you just make a neon?” She ignored me obviously. So when I looked at the name of the pet, she didn’t do enough spaces, so it looked like this: Making N Age: Full Grown Age: Post-Teen I caught her red handed and she declined the trade, so everyone who was going to offer I had to private message them saying that they were post-teens not a full grown. I think I messaged the whole serve! 😂😂 Next Story time (this one is short dw!) So I was playing pick a door and I won, I won a Persian Cat. She gave it to me and kept congratulating me. As soon as she left I looked at the pet and she had tried to scam someone with it. The same technique.
That happened to me before I had 3 full grown dolphin I was trading my dragon for a full grown dolphin then someone traded me they added a dolphin it says full grown but it actually was a junior 😩

I got scammed by that to for a dog it wasnt that much but i loved my dog i had i aged it up and i loved it until i saw a girl trading 4 full growns mouses and i traded my dog for 1 and when i realized it was only newborn i was rlly sad... but atleast now i am richer but still i miss my dog ❤ (My dog was full grown)
