Ultra-Trail kosciuszko is a ultramarthon race set in New South Wales, Australia. I follow Athlete and run coach, Vanessa Angerer (25), as attempts to complete her first 100 mile race.
A spacial thank you to the support crew who made this journey possible, it was an amazing feat of endurance to capture and I'm so excited to share it with you all.

Very wise words at the end, Vanessa. As a 63 year old who also finished the Kosci Miler (although a little slower), there is no rush. Congratulations on the finish.

I've only been running for 6 months, and the progress has been going very slow, so an ultra feels so far away. So I really needed to hear that little message of not worrying about rushing etc when I'm only 22

You’re so young, ultra runners usually peak in their 30s as it’s years and years of mileage built up on the legs 🏃‍♀️ remember to run for time and not distance or speed to begin with. I’ve got a video on how I ran an ultra in 5 months up xx

Great video Alex. Amazing Vanessa 🏃‍♀️ Love the video. Love the story. This was my first 100 miler and I finished minutes behind you. We must have been pretty close to each other, not just because of the finish time, but the fact you mentioned a guy (Dean) offered his car for shelter in the lightning storm. I jumped into his car for 5 minutes during that storm. What a roller coaster of a race.
