Great project! I have wanted for a long time to make a FOSS Godot game as sort of a launchpad for other creators. Like how Half Life became a launch pad for many other games like Counter Strike.
Yes! I intend to make Liblast easily moddable after the base game is stable, so that it hopefully can become an entry point for modders and game developers who wanted to make an FPS game, but got overwhelmed with how much is needed to make even a half-decent experience. Hopefully Liblast will be the baseline that takes care of all that, so people can focus on making cool stuff on top :) - unfa
