I’ve been looking for a cuddly cactus for awhile. Went to my local wm and to my luck, the pot had a crack. I usually repot my cactus in terracotta and super gritty mix so it worked out perfect. Got it marked down to $5. It was planted in coco peat which is horrible for cactus since it retains too much water. Now it’s happy in my mix and I’m happy it only cost me $5 😊

my walmart just got in their valentine's day stock, and it's just a bunch of variegated string of hearts and that heart shaped Hoya leaf in a pot. I would LOVE if they got the kind of variety you're showing!

You should grow your alocasia collection with those prices. Your apartment has perfect growing conditions, bright light and humidity. I have all of mine in pon because I’ve failed twice in soil. Pon is my last resort, if they don’t make it, that will be the end for me and alocasias. I’ve had in pon for 6 months… crossing my fingers.
