It might be confusing regarding what was going in with Finland the whole time; basically, they had a Fascist coup called the Lapua movement take over the government, and Mannerheim fled to Sweden, later on, Mannerheim staged a coup against the Fascists and regained control of Finland with the help of Sweden.
